It sort of did its job but left a gummy residue on my hair. I also recently learned that the sulfates that keep bar soap together also strip color.

I'd been buying the rose pink shampoo and conditioner for ages but still regularly had to top up my colour. This shampoo bar has changed that. I alternate between it and the liquid shampoo and I have next to no fade. My hair also feels clean and isn't any more dry than before. I ordered two more in case they stop making it.

Wouldn’t give any stars for this - breaks into small chunks too easily. Feels drying on the hair. Can’t store in the packing as it gets soggy. Used a soap dish - but it’s wrecked it! (See pic. The colour won’t even fade, I now need a new dish) This stuff stains everything apart form my hair - it’s been useless compared to the liquid shampoo they used to make. The packaging says it would stain fabrics, which I’d expect, but not hard surfaces! Absolutely not worth the expensive price at all. Will never use again.

I always use Bleach London Rose products semi permanent toners, hair dyes, shampoo & conditioner and the shampoos are the best and last the longest. The shampoo bar is more effective because you can run it down the hair. I leave it for 5 minutes because rubbing and rinsing.
