The I Love You Book

This book arrived today. Ive read it about 6 times already at the request of my daughter. She loves it and can already read it herself. Lovely message easily accessible to children with great illustrations. I'll be buying again.

Read to pre school children they loved the story.

We enjoy this book in our house. It carries the simple but strong message of "I love you no matter what" without being cheesy or moralistic. It has examples of times when the narrator loves the reader that children can relate to in day to day life accompanied by bright illustrations that children will love.

very nice book. It basically says 'I love you no matter how you are... whether you are good or not..' lots of pages... very satisfying compared to some books that end very quickly. I do understand this is used to show a universal picture of parents loving their children... but the only thing I have to say is that my 3 year old got a little confused as every page features a different child with a different parent. When I read it to him, he thinks its about him which it sort of is... but then each page features a different child, sometimes a baby and sometimes a toddler,..

Such a lovely book to share with toddler. Fun and colourful illustrations. So important as part of developing a toddlers self esteem to understand how loved they are.

My daughter (6 year old) absolutely loved this book and memorised most of the words. She loved that she was able to read it herself as well. Quite simple book but gets the message across.

My son loves this book and I do to because it demonstrates the way I feel about him. The only downside is one version has a padded heart, on the cover, which is easy for little fingers to pierce. I ended up buying a second copy but this time the version with simply a drawing on the front cover.

One of the most loved books by my one year old son. He loves it so much and I love all Todd Parr’s book! :)

I do wish that they would put the sizes of the books! This one is only 15x15cm which was quite disappointing for me, as I need the books for my storytelling in nurseries :( - The cover also came damaged with a tear in the beautiful heart on the front-cover, so, I'll see what the process is on sending it back for a re-placement. But having said all that, I love all the Todd Parr books, so colourful and full of positivity and self esteem for kids from an young age. The 5 books that I ordered were delivered quite quickly, and the other ones were the perfect size approx. 25x25cm :) Sherry

Nos enfants ont toujours adoré les histoires de Todd Parr. La collection s'agrandit avec celui-ci. Ma fille n'a pas encore 2 ans et si elle doit choisir un livre de la bibliothèque c'est vers ceux-là qu'elle ira !

I read this book with my husband and my two children every single night as the last book before bed. We read the “I love you when we are cuddled up close” page twice and all hug. It’s the sweetest and cutest effing thing ever and often the most tender and pure part of my day. I think it’s grounding for them but my god it is SO grounding and special for me. I know that this is one of those little traditions I will cherish and remember forever. Get this book and start your own.
