WHITIN Women's Multi-Purpose Feather Water Shoes + Thick Sole Z10

This review is being written early on, so I hope I don't end up disappointed after posting it! I was searching for a water shoe that I could wear to and from the locker room when I start water aerobics, but also do light workouts at home in until water aerobics start. I had a pair from another company and they fell apart very quickly, so one of the reasons I decided to get this pair was because of the edging around the ankle. It is different than most others, who have a trim stitched on. I liked how they looked in the pictures, and the reviews they got, and they seemed affordable. I've worn them around the house for a couple of days now and they are comfortable with socks on. As one other reviewer mentioned, the footbed is massaging, but we have found that to be uncomfortable without socks on. It also feels sticky to me, being a rubber footbed (my previous pair was a regular footbed). I have had some issues with my left foot...current torn tendon, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and am starting to get balance issues with vertigo. I read an article recently that talked about the thicker, cushy shoes putting more distance between the bottoms of our feet and the ground, and resulting balance issues. I am not supposed to go barefoot, but didn't want to keep wearing my Ryka's and making one issue worse while another gets better. So far these have been great for me! I love the color, they are lightweight, and I am sure without socks on they would be breathable. I love being able to slip them on and not have to mess with laces. The mesh fabric is the same as my previous pair (again, from another company), and I was constantly snagging it. I hope that doesn't happen with these. I got a size 7.5, which is my usual size, and I was worried that they seemed too big, but if I had gone to a 7, my big toe would be bumping into and rubbing where the sole meets the shoe. So I am happy with the size I got and the fit, especially with socks on and if my feet swell any in the heat.

These water shoes are lightweight, comfortable, and easy to slip on. They fit well and feel secure while walking. The sole has good grip, and they dry quickly after getting wet. They’re great for the beach, the pool, or other outdoor water activities. Great quality for the price.

Great pair of water shoes very comfy and stay on the feet, don't rub my feet Raw on the insides like most water shoes do, just fine for wide feet the only problem is, they're not good for walking on a slippery place ( like a cave )

Shoes are cute color and fit well. They were comfortable to wear as I crossed the gravel driveway and concrete road. They protected my feet while crossing the hot sand down to the beach. However, regardless of how tight I adjusted them, they did not keep out the sand. Once inside the shoe, the sand then created an uncomfortable friction between my feet and the shoe. As much as I tried to rinse and shake the sand out, it seemed impossible. Come to find out, the sand had even gotten down underneath the sole of the shoe. They were not effective at protecting my feet from broken shells as I walked down near the water - because of the constant friction created by the sand which would wash into the shoe with each wave that washed up, I had to take them off and carry them instead. *This was just my experience - others may differ.*

I don't have much more to add to the positive reviews for these shoes -- true to size, very comfortable, lightweight, flexible sole, great value for the price. The placement of the toggles for the adjustable drawstrings don't match on the pair I received, which doesn't bother me because it's a cosmetic issue, not functional, but it may bother others.

I got these to replace the water shoes I had for the beach and they were excellent! I have a wide foot with a narrow heel so most of the time I struggle to keep water shoes on in the water, but with the ankle tightener they stayed on the whole time. They’re also super comfy and true to size, would recommend

I've been walking in the pool every day to get ready for some hiking. I ended up with a painful inflammation in the metatarsal joint. My doc recommended wearing water shoes. These shoes have been a lifesaver!! They are comfortable and protect my feet from the rough surface. I love them! They dry quickly too!! Will be using them at the beach as well - no more walking on painful shells!!!

4 stars only because I’ve had them for only a few weeks so I don’t know how durable they are. If they last a decent amount of time then I’ll give it 5 stars. The shoes are very comfortable and easy to put on. Which is why I like them so much because most of the swimming shoes are very hard to put on for me as for some reason they have a very small opening to put the foot in. It needs bending and a struggle. Amazon stopped selling the swim shoes I’ve been buying for the last 10 years, and for the past year or so I haven’t been able to find a replacement. Till I found these. Plus they’re light and don’t become heavy with water when used in the pool. Very happy with them so far. They’re true to size.
