This keeps me plenty warm (so warm, in fact, that on days when it's in the single digits I sometimes open up the vents so that i don't overheat...and all I wear underneath is windbreakers and a t-shirt). I would say that from -25 degrees to 25 degrees is the temperature range I would use it in (but thats someone who has lived in new england all his life and is used to the cold). There are three tracks for zippers (one on each leg and one that zips up the front) and two zippers on each track making it easy to get into (even with boots) and gives you plenty of ventilation so you don't overheat, and makes it easy to use the bathroom. The zippers are also very beefy and looks like it would take a lot to break them. The outside is made of jean material making it very durable. The inside is lined making it comfortable (even if you want to just wear underwear underneath). Took me a while but I came to conclusion that it's a typo and what they mean by Long/regular and Long/tall is actually Large/Regular and Large/Tall (because, what would it mean to be both long and tall?) So that's what I went with (Long/Regular), I'm 6' and just under 200lbs, slightly tall arms & torso. The fit is as good as I've found because I'm a big guy and it's hard to find work pants that fit well. They are comfortable and will soften up after a few washes (use warm wash and warm dry. Never use hot as they may shrink a little) they are a little warm in the summer so usually i get the lighter material pants for the really hot months here in texas. Plenty of pockets and good stitching. Well made. Only area for improvement would be the double knee pocket for the knee padding you can purchase separately. The pads slide down too far so before kneeling down I have to pull my pant legs up a bit so my knees will be on the pads.
