Decent. Very little grit.
I did enjoy this product. I was pretty good right from the bag. Good crunch with very little grit. I've never tried airing it out as my area is somewhat humid. I've seen reviews of people who put it in the oven. I'll look up temperature and time for that, bt I'm overall satisfied as is.

Do not buy
I was looking for a dirt/earthy taste because of my low iron. But this has No taste at all. Save your money. Do not buy EDIT: initially, these rocks had no taste whatsoever. And they dissolved so fast when I’d try to chew on them. They had flour consistency. However, after airing them out outside for WEEKS, they hardened up and they do taste a bit better. I do get very little hints of dirt/rain. I did have to let them sit outside for many weeks. Luckily, it was windy and it rained a lot during this time in the area that I live in, so I’m assuming this contributed to the bit of taste they now have.

The best clay!
Soooo good and crunchy! Didn’t take long to obtain the earthy taste at all! I keep it in the plastic bag and the box it comes in and I think that speeds up the process. The best I’ve had so far. Will be ordering more!

Very good purchase
Although you’re not supposed to eat it, I do. I’ll leave the bag open overnight and it’s got the right taste to satisfy my Pica cravings. I know I need iron but this is my guilty pleasure.
