What is the maximum length the slats can be?** A: I believe they recommend 4’ but I used horizontally at 5’ without issues. Vertically even longer than 5’ should work without a problem. **Q: what are the max wieght limits?** A: Without knowing your application, here's an indirect response. I've used four 4ft panels to create a cedar privacy screen on my deck. The result is beautiful, functional, and I love it. However, the FlexFence is designed for all the panels to move in sync in response to moderate hand pressure. I learned the hard way that the screen won't sustain a blow. Construction workers left a sawhorse 10ft away on the unfinished deck. A high wind blew the sawhorse into the screen, breaking one panel where a leg got trapped in the screen, which was closed at the time. * The FlexFence itself survived the hit.* (No harm to the sawhorse either.) I did have to replace the one panel, however. So, if you expect people large or small to swing on the panels, rough-house too close to the panels, mindlessly tip back in their chairs toward the panels, or in case of heavy projectiles such as sawhorses occasionally flying towards the panels, make sure you've got extra panels! Your FlexFence should be fine, however. **Q: why is maximum board length 48"?** A: I personally installed 52+ inch wide boards on a pergola roof. Appears very sturdy **Q: Are the included screws rated for treated lumber?** A: I don't know if screws are rated that way. However, I can tell you that I built my "deck Wall" using the screws included with the kit in Fall of 2018. My louvers operate perfectly through the one summer and two winters it has been up.
