Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the straps that arrived with the cradles were stiff and difficult to attach/fasten. Fortunately, I had ordered extra straps for my Softride bike rack and was able to use those with the cradles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Solves the problem *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2013* I've had a Softride bike rack for years and overall I like the product and it's ability to swing down out of the way of the tail gate. The one issue I've had with the rack from the very begining is the wind catching the bikes and having them "sail" behind the car. Not a big issue if it is only one bike, but when you have several on the rack they rub against each other.I have tried all manner of bungee cord, bike lock cables, etc to keep the bikes from moving too much. I had come up with a workable system but it was kind of a pain. Then by chance one day I saw an ad for Softride racks and noted the anti-sway feature on some of their higher end racks. Thought I would give it a try - wow - wish I would have bought these years ago. Cradles were easy to install - just snap in place. Immediately solved my my problems with the bikes moving in the wind as I drove.Pros:Stops bikes from moving back and forth on rack - elminating damageEasy to InstallInexpensiveCons:Would be difficult to use with unussual frame styles.Can make getting the bikes on and off the racks a bit clunky (esp. if it is a small frame)Straps are far too long - however I would rather have them too long than too short. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Don't know how to use this *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2013* This is one of those products that didn't come with any instructions.
