Works great but slow.
Works great for layering. It does leave a film high up on the side of the glass due to how it attaches and pours. It's also very slow. I would not recommend it for large parties. 4 shots at a time max. And it will still take 1 minute per 3 layer shot.

Layers well
This product works well. It allows liquid to slowly run down the side of a glass so that it can layer. Itโs not quite as perfect for layering as some other designs, but it is much cheaper and straight forward.

Beautiful layered drinks
Made a perfectly layered B-52 the first try! It works best on glasses with fairly thin, vertical walls. I had a set of 1.5 oz. Libbey Cordial shot glasses, and they work great. It's a fairly slow process, but if it weren't slow, the layers would mix. I'm thinking about getting a second one to help speed up the process of making beautiful layered shots. Works great!

Fell very short of my expectations
It didn't work with about half the glasses we tried and the instructions fall very short. Looked on the internet and found that there is an art to what can be layered and what can't. This was completely omitted from the instructions and makes it very difficult to use without significant research. This one will go in the gadget drawer and most likely never come out. At least until we clean out the drawer and put it in permanent storage.

Learn with layering spoons.
It's interesting and the outcome is a cool layered drink. But it's cheaply made. A layering spoon does as well.

Totally incompatible
I work in a bar, and due to the volume of customers we have, grabbing a spoon to layer drinks isn't always handy. This was cheap, and I thought it would be a nice gimmick. It's worse, it's completely useless. The lip that sits on the edge of the glass has an odd curve to it, and will NOT fit just any glass. In fact, after trying 23 different glasses and shot glasses, I have not been able to use this product at all!!!! Not once! This will apparently only fit two specific types of glassware, and they are the 2 pictured on the box, and that's a guess at best! This is also clearly sponsored by Bols liquor, as all the recipes included in the box (just a few) are made exclusively with Bol's products. Again, making this useless. Please, do yourself a favor, do not waste your money on this. Watch a few videos on youtube, and do some practice at home with layering drinks, and you'll have far far better results.

For My Brotherin Law
This is something I read about prior to seeing on site. I love the idea that he can layer different color liquors into a drink. I know he will love it when his birthday comes up in October. He is a true wine, drink fancier.

Steadier hand than mine
Trying to pour and hold a spoon or knife steady to layer can be a challenge. This tool is helpful. Now if I can only get the relative specific gravity for each liqueur right for perfect layering. Have fun!
