I was able to fix 2 cable that the ends had been cut off. This kit worked great, and the tester was the saving grace to know that the cable was fixed properly. Those wires are so small that it's really hard to see that they are in the correct position. The tester confirmed that they were. Thank you

4 stars because the crimping tool is not a pass through crimper. I did not expect this to be a pass through at this price so that is why I only took one star off. Otherwise everything works fine. The crimper is relatively low quality but works. Fair price for the kit if bought for occasional use. Will need to come up with a solution for trimming the ends after crimping. I purchased the Klein pass though crimper which works great. Will use this tool with my standard connectors.

I have been real happy with this crimper set. It does both RJ11 and RJ45. It would be nice if some RJ 11 connectors were included. As far as I can tell it crimps great everytime. And the testers are great for checking new or exsisting cables. Thanks for a great affordable tool set.

Great for a beginner! It has everything I needed to complete a DIY networking project at home to convert patched cat6 phone to Ethernet. I did buy some keystone jacks from cable matters, but the contents in this kit was enough to crimp the cables, test, and install the keystone jacks. I will never need to purchase another crimped cable again!

These do NOT come with PASS THRU connectors. These are cheap "spray and pray" connectors. It is impossible to get the 8 wires (4 pairs) correctly into these ends. You'll spend hours working on a single one. If you are buying this kit for the tool. Great - it is a good value. Do not add any value for the connectors- they are junk. The seller needs to add pass thru connectors to this kit. With pass thru connectors you keep the pairs correctly aligned as they pass thru the termination and then you trim the ends off. I would return this item if I didn't have a Frys Electronics close by.

One day shipped this. Got to me in less than 12 hours. Everything worked great! cable tester works, crimper crimps (that's a lot of crimping). Cable punch tool worked very well when installing cables into a keystone. Even the cable stripper tool was very useful and didn't cut into the cable at all. Like I said I needed this for a job and didn't have my old equipment so this filled that gap without issues. Definitely recommend .
