Works great and easy to use. I would make sure you put it up the chimney as far as it will go whilst still being able to reach the valve and inflation tube. It may need a top up of air every now and then. I am really pleased with it and it's keeping the warm air in my living room :)

Initially really thought this was a great product idea. Reducing the air escaping through the chimney to almost none. However, the balloons deflate after, at most, 2 days which means you get a load of detritus pulled down from your stack, a dirty living room and the need to re-inflate/re-position. After 3 of these occurrences the balloon wouldn’t inflate at all because it was popped. Probably from scraping the sides as it came down or when moving a little bit with the wind. Wouldn’t buy this product.

Not the best .Didn’t keep inflated and difficult to maintain air due to the soot in the chimney . Did cut down the draft though .

Wish I had known about them years ago. After installation the room was noticeably warmer, any chimney whistling and debris ceased. Would (and will) buy again for my other defunct victorian chimneys.

Bought as a result of reading tips on eons website. Never really heard of a chimney balloon before. After a bit of adjustment and soot in the eyes (follow the instructions and wear goggles next time!) it worked perfectly. Definitely noticed a difference during the recent storms - less drafts. Would definitely recommend if you have open chimneys that get used occasionally.

I found it quite fiddly to fit and it kept falling down, but eventually got it to stay up by basically ramming it up the chimney while inflating it (oo-er!). Now in-situ it works very well and has stopped both draughts and stuff falling down the chimney into the fireplace. It doesn't sit nice and neat as in the picture, but does the job.

Well it's up and was easy to install and seems to be good material and looks like its made to last

The product title says it has 12 items included, it is just one balloon. False advertising sadly
