A substantial latch that does not look as though it will slip very soon, as previous, less heavy duty ones have.

Top quality stuff, but not for the average garden gate. Very heavy duty, something you would find on a farm gate.

Good value, easy to install and works well

The latch seems to be ok, quite sturdy but I had to adapt the round locking bar as it wasn't long enough I had to grind off the welds to the stop plate and reweld so that it would reach the latch, but maybe ok for standard gate, the bolts that they supply are rubbish and may work if you use raw plugs but they aren't self-taping and need a pilot hole but even then they won't tighten as the thread is to fine or none existent, luckily I had some M10 self-tapping bolts which secured the latch, the course thread bolts in the picture aren't what you get, would attach a photo but got so annoyed with them I binned them so that if i forgot the trouble I had had I wouldn't try to reuse them and go through the same problem again
