This book's approach to note reading works! It broken down into simple to understand lessons that would not overwhelm the budding musician. You will learn the notes by strings/keys. It has been by far the most helpful learning aid! I liked it so much that I bought the cello version for my cello playing son. I wish I knew about this book sooner!

This book turned out better than I expected. It’s so detailed on all aspects that who needs YouTube to learn. Also the print of the notes is large so easy to read and follow along.

I would have preferred "Flash Cards" to learn the music notes specifically for VIOLIN ... But was unable to find with Amazon "Prime" free shipping ... didn't want to pay extra for shipping. This book is ok ... Haven't had much time yet to delve more into the book.
