Under $80 Juggernaut (3 speaker battle)
was having a hard time choosing between this, and Oontz angle 3 Pro, and a Doss Soundbox Pro. Im looking for something primarily for the house to be used in a bedroom/office. EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS A WINNER and I wouldnt hesitate to choose any of the 3. Sound quality was very very....VERY comparable with each one and pretty much a wash (explained below). I dont like letting my batteries drain so I cant vouch for battery life on each one, but im not worried. Below is why I would choose each model, hopefully it helps you. Also if it matters, I listened to Radiohead-The National Anthem and Skrillex-Rumble to test the speakers. --Why I chose the Doss Soundbox Pro: I hate to admit it but the price....and I actually chose this one over the Tribit and Oontz after my sound tests. The sound was on par with the other 2 (similar wattage to the Oontz) and I liked this one just a hair more than the Oontz because it was a little crisper sounding where the Oontz was a little fuller...if that makes sense. So with the sound being the same, the fact that I could ALSO pair multiple Doss speakers for a multi speaker set up just like the Oontz (this is a great feature for when entertaining guests/having a small party/get-together), and considering I'd primarily be using this in a bedroom (where the powerbank wouldnt come in as handy like the Oontz has).....I had to choose this one. I didnt realize it was the cheapest until I had finished testing all 3 and went back to the invoice. This is the best bang for your buck speaker of the 3 and im big on value....but dont mind spending either if the value is there. --Why I would choose this speaker (Tribit Stormbox Micro 2): This one is the most travel friendly. Its the smallest and has a strap across the backside of it so you can easily attach it to a backpack, bike, UTV/ATV or any type of bar....the straps so tight to the body of the speaker that you can even put it on something as small as a car antenna and itd hold securely. Since the strap is snug to the body it stays secured. They dont list the wattage and this had the lowest wattage of the bunch at 10w compared to the other 2 at 20w/21w each.....but it was without a doubt equally as loud as the other two with trebles and bass being on par with the other two. Id really like to see how loud and clean a tribit with higher wattage sounds if this 10w speaker matched the higher wattage speakers I compared it to in my test. --Why I would choose the Oontz Angle 3 Pro instead: This one was the biggest and beefiest which I am a fan off....but I dont want you to think its a brick. its still plenty light where it wont feel like a burden lugging it around. This one also has a ocean/boat theme color pattern which is sweet and almost swayed me since i will be using this on my boat too. The other thing that almost swayed me was that the speaker can be used as a powerbank!!! So this ones sound is just as good as the other but the standout features are the looks, and the fact that it can be used as a powerbank which can come in very handy. Its not included but they have a bracket mount that clamps on to stuff.......not sure how it would hold up to movement and things like that but there is that option out there. These can also be paired with other Oontz speakers for a multi speaker set up. --Why I would choose the Doss Soundbox Pro: I hate to admit it but the price....and I actually chose this one over the Tribit and Oontz after my sound tests. The sound was on par with the other 2 (similar wattage to the Oontz) and I liked this one just a hair more than the Oontz because it was a little crisper sounding where the Oontz was a little fuller...if that makes sense. Amazing Sound Quality and Great Value for Money
The DOSS SoundBox Pro Bluetooth Speaker exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is excellent, with clear vocals, deep bass, and impressive volume for its size. Bluetooth connectivity is quick and stable while the colorful light effects add a fun touch to the listening experience. Overall, this speaker offers outstanding performance at a reasonable price.

Great Item?
The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the battery life is shorter than my needs most times. Otherwise, this is a great item for the price. A bit contradictoral.

4 years old with daily use- still perfect.
I just looked up my previous order because I needed a new charger, and realized I have had this speaker for FOUR years. I have never had a single problem with it! I use it daily and it’s worked perfectly- such a good buy.

A good unit with many features, and perhaps a tad pricey because of those features
In the world of Bluetooth speakers, this one struck me as a tad pricey, but not overly so. I am hoping for quality of build to let this thing last many years, and we'll see how that works. Meantime, the sound is nice. I use it mostly to listen to podcasts (including podcasts with music) and to stream stuff from Amazon music and Pandora, and the sound quality is OK for me for those purposes. I haven't used the bass emphasis button, finding I don't need that for what I listen to. The lighting feature is amusing, but I keep it off to lengthen battery life. The speakers provide a stereo sound, but I can't really discern a stereo result. Which is OK, I wasn't really expecting much in those regards, considering the speakers are so close to one another. The unit pairs with my iPhone extremely quickly. Haven't had it long enough to assess battery life (which can be a function of volume, use of lighting effects, use of the bass effect, and perhaps the phase of the moon). Overall, it meets my expectations fully and feels like it is well made.

Sound is flat and muddy. EQ is required to listen to this
I have been using a FUGOO bluetooth speaker for about two years and have been very happy with it. I have been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic and decided I wanted another speaker. One to set to the laptop and another for my phone. I always peruse the various offerings and extensively read the reviews. The reviews were high for this speaker so I thought I would give it a shot. What sold me was the "stereo" connection between two speakers, price and ratings. I bought two. I have Prime so the speakers were delivered quickly and safely the next day. Packaging was fine. The speakers come with a male-to-male 3.5 mm aux cable, which can come in handy if you wish to connect directly to a music source. It also comes with a USB-B charging cable. |The speakers were 50% charged when I received them. I fairly quickly connected to my phone (Android) with the bluetooth pairing. The "party lights" are ok and you have your choice of three primary solid colors or four changing colors. I just keep it on the solid Blue color as I find them a bit distracting when working. I wish they gave the option for either a solid (not flashing) border color or the ability to just turn the lights off, but they do not. The build is solid and not a light , cheap "plasticky" feel. The buttons are rubber and have a good feel when pressed. After playing a round with the different settings and volume controls I decided to give the second speaker a run and see what the "stereo" connection sounded like. Connecting the stereo connection was a bit more cumbersome but, finally was able to get he speakers to talk to each other and I was good to go. I had read an earlier review that said the stereo sound was not true stereo and the same sound came out of both speakers. That was not true for my first run. I found excellent stereo separation and I recommend you try a few songs to test the capabilities of the speakers connected to each other. My first song to go was the classic Led Zepplin "Whole Lotta Love", if you are familiar with that song you know it was originally recorded for "quad" sound to give the feeling of a swarming and swirling wall of sound. The stereo effect was quite noticeable and clear. Other songs were The Cars, "Moving in Stereo" and the seminal Billy Thorpe "Children of the Sun". The stereo works! Sound. To this point, I have had nothing but good things to say about these speakers. However, here is where I am disspointed. The sound of my music comes across very flat. My recording are FLAC (lossless) and I expect to hear the full range of music with bright crisp and clean highs as well as clear solid bass and crisp mid-range. In a word these speakers are "muddy". I don't need to apply the Bass boost as I feel it would only degrade the quality further. The speakers do put out a fair amount of sound and even at low settings tend to be a bit loud (when working). I needed to play with my equalizer settings to try and resolve the muddy issues and that helped to some extent, but it only works on downloaded songs played directly through an installed player. If you are going to utilize a streaming service, such as Spotify, Pandora, Radio Paradise or even a cloud based player such as Google Player, then you are stuck with the muddiness quality. It would be nice if DOSS had a sound app that other bluetooth speakers, ear buds and head phones have. Until then you are relegated to a well-built speaker with limited capabilities. One note the sound will tend to do better at about a 2/3 to 3/4 volume, but at that level you would probably want to be outside as it tends to be a bit loud for inside use, unless you are cleaning and want to be able to listen to the music from any room in the house. I then switched to a few different genres, Jazz, Blues, Classical.....again the sound, though a bit better was flat to me. I did use the speakers for a phone call and the microphone worked well, with the other person saying they did not hear back ground noise or echo. Over all, I suppose you get what you pay for. The build is good and solid, functionality is fairly easy and intuitive. The stereo aspect with two speakers is a huge plus! Unfortunately, the sound quality pulls this speaker set down from a solid 4 stars to a standard 3 stars. They aren't bad speakers, I just can't get over how flat they are.
