Love this coffee. I have a Phillips Automatic Espresso machine and a OXO coffee maker with a separate burr grinder. This coffee is smooth and flavorful any way it's made; always bold and never bitter. I buy two when it's discounted. Couldn't be more pleased with the roast.

I’ve tried many espresso beans, but this Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean Coffee is one of the best! The aroma fills the kitchen as soon as you open the bag, and the taste is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced — not bitter at all. Works great both for espresso shots and milk drinks. I use it in my espresso machine, and the crema turns out thick and beautiful every time. Definitely worth buying again!

No problems with the coffee just didnt have as robust of a flavor profile as I was expecting based on reviews. I find that Juan valdez or most any organic single origin whole bean coffee has a fuller richer flavor. This coffee tasted a little old even. To me it tasted like it had been processed an extra step that washed out flavor or something. It still had a strong caffeine bite flavor but not any of the earthier flavors I like from other brands. 4.3 stars, but i would add 0.3 stars for price value, 4.4lbs for 30 bucks is a banging deal. But I still cant give it 5 stars because its just too overrated already.

I prefer to grind my own beans. Been using this brand for a while now. It's the best.
