This is a great lighter. I have had several other "top" brands and some more expensive than this one but this one strikes every time. I also add fuel without bleeding it (I know it's a no-no) but I have never had any issues doing this. Best lighter I've ever owned and I've had various jet lighters over the past 25 years.

You know you can't go wrong with Xikar and their lifetime warranty. This sleek stylish lighter has a large tank with a clear window that has a red color indicator to determine butane levels. I got the burnt orange/rust color. I also bought the matching lighter. The set looks really good together and they make a good conversation piece. The trigger is smooth and the 4 jets burn clean. I've had it 2-3 months with average use. No issues so far. Very comfortable in your hand.

Very heavy and stout. This is not the lighter you will carry in your pocket or even your golf bag. Whether you have a cigar/poker room or are resigned to the back lanai this lighter should be on display. It is a work of art. Easy to fill and simple flame adjustment. Update: I bought this on October 18, 2018 and for the last several months we have had problems getting it to work. Mind you, we have it in the house in a case on top of the humidor for cigar use only. 18 months later it does not work at all. Yes, we added fluid and have bled it out for air bubbles. I do not have unrealistic expectations but believed this little gadget should have lasted longer than my cigarette lighters that are in my purse that I bought from Walmart for $1.99. If you are considering buying this I would say don't waste the money. Unless a year is all you want out of it.

Update and reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I bought 2 of these originally. They both seemed to work fine, but one quit igniting withing the 1st hour. I asked for a exchange and it was done promptly and new lighter is on its way. Would be 5 stars if I did not have the one go bad. Beautiful Lighter. Nice heavy construction. Lights on the 1st pull. I love these.
