The stainless steel finish looks nice on the counter and feels solid and well made. For my gluten-free bread, I use the gluten-free option with the darkest toast setting, and my toast comes out perfect every time. If I need just a little extra warmth, I can drop it down for an additional 30 seconds without over-toasting. I also use the bagel setting with the darkest toast option for my AWG bagels, and they turn out evenly toasted and crisp without drying out. My husband and my daughter eat regular bread, and they have had no issues using this toaster either. So I would go 1-2 settings down then how you actually want it to look. I love that it comes with a countdown. **3. Lots of choices for types of bread and doneness. Shows countdown till completion on each side. Adjust time for consecutive toastings done in the same slots so that subsequent toast doesn't get overdone. Handy reheat setting

One of the better toasters I have used. Pops up as toast, not warm bread. The toast is mostly as pictured on the toaster. Does a good job on muffins and bagels. Only real negative is that some over sized bread like Italian bread does not fit to the toasters bottom. Like most other toasters, the top of the bread sticks up. Other than that, I recommend it.

sleek design / works beautifully

I love this toaster!! I bought it for the office, after the two previous toasters died. (One quit working and the other had no control on doneness after a month or so) Everyone said this one had two many gadgets and wasn't going to make it. Five months later everyone is in love with it. Precise, even toasting, especially on bagels, and no problems at all. If I had one negative, the handles are a little flimsy, but it has not affected the products performance. BUY IT, you will love it.

My toaster finally died and I had to replace it and I started seeing all these digital screened toasters and figured I’d give it a try and I will never go back to the old toaster that just burns your toast every time. I have used this multiple times since I’ve gotten it never once has it burnt my toast. The price was a little high for a toaster, but well worth it. It works very well and is not flimsy. I feel like it would be very durable.

The bagel setting cooks both sides when it should not. Kinda disappointed with this toaster, I can’t believe it has a bagel setting but it doesn’t work.
