Got these for my nephew and they are awesome!

These are glow-in-the-dark plastic composite drumsticks.I left them outside on a tabletop on a sunny day, and glow really well for quite a while in the dark or low light situations.They feel really weird during play, however, because they are flexible--you can make then bow a bit, just by grabbing each end and bending--so they vibrate in your hands during play, and wobble a lot on a practice pad. They are textured, so they're easy to grip.I would say to restrict their use to a drum solo, and use them when the lights are temporarily turned down during a portion of the solo, for an inexpensive "Rock & Roll" effect. Prolonged play with them would feel odd, and transmit too much vibration into your hands and forearms.$8.99 for TWO pair is certainly fair, and something to have around for fun, or as I said, a novelty portion of a performance.These are NOT serious drum sticks.

These are fun drum sticks. They are sturdier than the LED lighted ones, and you don’t have to worry about keeping them charged. They still provide a cool effect. Overall, we would recommend these drum sticks.
