This screen very nearly worked right out of the box. I didn't bother to use their disk image (which comes on a CD/DVD - who owns a dvd drive these days?!) but only needed to edit /boot/config.txt to add the following details: hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=87 hdmi_cvt=800 480 60 6 0 0 0 Screen isn't the brightest i've seen, but it's crisp and has a good refresh rate.
