5/16" Stainless Steel Self-Locking Ball Lock Cable Ties, Extra Wide, Monster Size (10, 40)

We had purchase three hanging pots to put on our deck. When the package arrived and after setting up the pots, we proceeded to hang them with the self locking cable ties provided in the package.. I imagine these may work if hanging on a fence or other skinny item. They would not work on our deck. I scanned Amazon for some self locking cables and i finally came upon these 36' JC performance cables. They work great and we should be hanging the pots later today. Great product and perfect length.

awesome cable ties, and they stay tight . great for hight temperature or uv environments. Used them on an exhaust system

Good quality, maybe heavy duty quality. I made the mistake of using plastic cable ties. Smaller cable ties old up better than the larger thick ones which bust loose and you find yourself picking them up every few weeks. That's my experience having built my own solar array. What I should've used to secure the panel cables were these stainless steel cable ties. I wouldn't need to re-tie the cables whenever the plastic ties break. Anyway, I've used these stainless cable ties and that's the way to go. UV resistant, won't crack, always looks new.

Although very expensive they were perfect for saving a cracking chiminea. Used 4 of them to band the chiminea and it seemed to work ok except you really need a $120 banding tightening tool to really cinch up on them. I bought the tool after I tried using them and the tool worked fine. Without the tool available on Amazon you cant use these very well.

In need of some stainless straps which operate similarly to zipties, while I'm aware of other straps which fit the ticket, I thought I'd try these as I liked their clean look. They are high quality, and are stamped as 304 stainless. Very easy to work with. I can't give 5 stars though, because the claim of "the harder you pull the tighter they get" didn't appear entirely accurate. Regardless of how tightly I pulled the straps, they'd slack out about a half inch before "locking positively" into place. This appears to be inherent in their design, not a flaw of crafstmanship. While locked in place, they firmly held, but I needed a solution which positively locked tightly as I had pulled it.
