Davinci Toddler Bed Conversion Kit (M3099) in Honey

Easy to install and the same color as the bed I originally bought.

I was so glad to find this rail for my Baby Mod Roxanne crib. Walmart has not sold this rail for months and because Baby Mod is made by the same manufacturer as Da Vinci, I was hoping this would fit. So far so good! This was easy to install, perfectly matched the espresso finish of my crib and fits perfectly. My only complaint is that because of the need to overstate safety instructions, there was a huge white sticker on one side of this crib that we had to tear off and clean with adhesive remover because we wanted to use the rail facing a specific direction and that sticker would have been on the outside of the rail. Other than that minor detail, this is a great rail.

The directions for installation are not very specific. The instructions only include one “model” of the crib. So if you don’t have the model that’s in the booklet the conversion kit comes with, then going by them is more of a guide than step by step instructions. Otherwise, zero complaints. The conversion was easy to do & a second person is recommended but honestly not absolutely necessary. It also keeps the bed low to the floor.

My very independent baby was insistent on playing and grabbing all the stuffys for her crib before I used the conversion kit. She's very pleased she can wander around her babyproofed room and loves that she drags all her stuffys into bed with her. The first nap/night was the hardest transition but it's been about a month now and she does great. For the parents whose babies are independent and know how to safely get out of the bed I highly reccomend converting your crib for them. They may be ready for it sooner than you think. My husband thought it was too soon and our little girl has proven that it's not. Edit. About a month after using it as a toddler bed she has insisted on choosing to sleep on the floor. I have a tent in her room. And she sleeps in that or on a floor futon. Converted the crib at 13months old. She's now over 17months and just chooses not to use it.

Parents, beware. The Davinci Twin/Full Size Bed Conversion Kit for the Davinci Kalani 4-in-1 Convertible Crib is falsely advertised and DOES NOT convert the crib into a standard full-size bed as claimed. After installing the conversion kit exactly as instructed, the assembled frame measures 52.75 inches wide, while a standard full mattress is 54 inches wide. It is physically impossible for any full-size mattress, slat system, or box spring to fit this frame. I have tested multiple options, and none fit because the conversion kit simply does not provide the required width. Davinci advertises that the Kalani crib converts into a full-size bed, but the conversion kit makes that impossible. This is misleading and deceptive, and it results in consumers paying for a feature the product cannot deliver. Parents buy this crib under the belief that it will last through full-size bed use, only to discover—years later—that the conversion kit is unusable and the product’s long-term value was misrepresented from the start. This is false advertising, it is deceptive, and it has caused unnecessary expense and frustration. The product as sold is effectively worthless. DO NOT waste your time or money on this product. It is essentially a scam.

Good design that easily attached to the crib and converted it to a toddler bed. Color matched perfectly.

It was really easy to swap out the side of the crib for the toddler conversion piece! The only thing I wish were different was the fact that some holes where the previous crib piece was connected are now exposed. It would have been nice to have some hardwar to fill those with so little toddler fingers don't get stuck there.

Absolutely beautiful and matches the crib white so well, it fits perfectly with the DaVinci Charlie 4-in-1 Convertible Crib we bought 2 years ago. Easy setup, very straight forward. Thank you.
