Men's Analogue Automatic Watch Expedition North Automatic

Timex! Well established brand with a long history of selling watches. Probably more famous over the last decade or two for cheap quartz watches but over the last few years have been making a comeback and gaining respect with their line of automatic and very well designed watches. This one is no exception. Imagine this, a 41mm titanium case, Japanese automatic movement, screwdown crown, sapphire crystal and 200m water resistant. All for under £270! Unbelievable really. Maybe a cheaper equivalent on A**express for an unusually named watch but without a strong warranty, you make your own mind up. Legibility is top notch. The date window sits in a good position. 41mm isn't too large. Logo on the crown is a bit loud but I think it's cool. Only let down was the plasticky black leather strap. Changed it to a nice cordura canvas strap and all is good. I've got many many watches and this one is has every right to be on my wrist especially when you need something tough and something that's discreet. Timex really got it right with this one.

Good value, Ti case, soft leather strap, 200m WR, Shock-Proof. Miyota 82XX movement which is 'hackable', so that's nice. No 'stutter' which these movements can suffer from. In some ways I prefer the Hackable Miyotas to the non-hackable Seiko movements, although I own both. All in all, a great value watch and a much better option than one of those lousy battery-powered G10 watches. The only option that would better suit someone that wanted something truly 'bespoke' would be to put your own watch together, but then by the time you have bought the case, movement, dial, hands, strap etc...you probably would have spent more. Lastly....it's nearly always out of stock....so it's a popular piece.

Really nice, well finished watch, would highly recommend. The hands stay legible all night even with my 55+ year old eyes. It's very light as you would expect with titanium and I personally think the black leather strap is alright. It's been on the wrist for solid 48hrs and is running 3secs fast so 1.5sec/day, can't complain at that but early days. Watch came well packaged and sealed ,took a week with FedEx. No complaints at all a definite keeper.

I can't resist buying this timex watch. I wasn't disappointed, its a lovely watch. I have changed the leather strap for a timex nato strap single loop so it sits nicely on the wrist. Would be nicer in a 38mm case. Not sure why there is another watch that looks exactly the same on amazon but its 200 pound dearer. Anyway the watch is great and the lumin on the hands is very bright

It is a great looking watch and has impressive specs... however... The date window is actually tiny and very hard to see, if you look at the photos carefully you can realise this. The movement is very noisy, you can hear and feel it while it's on your wrist, it's quite irritating. Lume is disappointing as compares to a casio. The strap is... meh... I returned it, the noisy movement, poor lure and tiny date window make it useless to me.

Great 41mm automatic field watch. Good for 6.5 and above wrists. It's lightweight and have a decent lume. Dial is also grainy one and the hands and numbers compliment it very nicely.

Excelente reloj. Un tanque en durabilidad y calidad. Lo compré para el uso diario y no tener que preocuparme por el, y ha sido un placer usarlo todos los dias. Con la caja de titanio, la corona que se enrosca para una resistencia de 200 m y el cristal de zafiro, este reloj me va a durar toda la vida.

el primer reloj automatico que tengo, lo primero que hize al comprarlo fue cambierle la correa, porque era verano y queria una mas comoda y fresca que es lo que ven en las fotos, le compre varias pero la negra es la que llevo siempre por lo comoda que es, en temu se pueden conseguir, el ancho de la correa es de 20mm, el reloj esta muy bien me gusta el diseño y los materiales, no se descuadra la hora, se puede usar siempre, combina con todo y ya le he dado varios golpes en el cristal y esta intacto, porque viene con cristal de zafiro, incluso la parte de atras por donde se ve el movimiento es de zafiro, tiene una reserva de movimiento creo que de 2 dias o un poco mas, un excelente reloj
