I’ve been using these tablets and they’ve made a noticeable difference with very little effort. Simply dropping a tablet into the bowl is quick and mess-free, and it gets to work straight away. It’s especially effective on limescale—after just one use, there was a clear improvement, and with regular use it keeps the toilet looking clean and fresh without the need for heavy scrubbing. The original scent is clean and not overpowering, which is a nice bonus. It’s also convenient having the tablets pre-measured, so there’s no guesswork or waste. While heavily built-up limescale might still need a second treatment, for ongoing maintenance these tablets are a great time-saver. Overall, a reliable and easy-to-use product that doesn't cost a lot and does exactly what it promises.

They are quite effective in cleaning toilets but are not the complete answer to deep staining.

Many other products failed so I didn't expect much but surprisingly this one worked well. Two tablets overnight and the hard residue in my toilet was soften, easy to remove with some pumice stone.

This stuff is the business, we rent a property and it helps us keep the loo nice and clean all year round, for stubborn stains we just leave a couple in the pan overnight. Saves getting the gloves on!

Works ok, but not as effective as the liquid version.

Very pleased with how these performed. The smell is pleasant and they do foam up well, but only level with the water line. Value is good as only needed one for each toilet. Whist toilet not to bad, staining on base was a problem. Have use other cleaner prior and they did nothing apart from dissolve. Will purchase these again as required

Creates lots of fizz and foam. Great for removing limescale from toilet bowls. I also used these tablets for descaling my shower heads. (Place the shower head in a jug of warm water with one tablet for a couple of hours). WARNING: I can't guarantee that the tablets won't discolour your showerhead, although mine were fine.

We have a Closomat toilet which we have been told (by their installer) not to use bleach based cleaning products in. Limescale still builds up in the toilet bowl and gets discoloured and was infuriating me because none of the "non-bleach" products I tried were up to the task. In the end, I threw caution to the wind and took a punt with these Harpic Power Plus Deep Cleaning Toilet Tablets. If I throw one in the loo at night and let it stand overnight then flush first thing in the morning they do help to reduce the limescale and staining in the loo. That's the best I could ask for and the Closomat installer who does the annual check hasn't complained about any damage to the mechanicals inside the toilet bowl so this product must be safe. They're not instant or perfect but they are better than nothing!
