We bought this grass to put on our deck with turf so our older dog can potty there instead of having to go down steps. The artificial grass did lure him to do his business there. However, the individual strands keep popping out of their holders. I think it's a problem with the holes in the part that holds the strands. I wish there were a clamp or deeper holes to sturdy them. Since my dog has peed on them, I don't like touching the reeds with my bare hands to keep standing them upright.

I really like this item. I have 5 chihuahuas and only one is a male. When in the house, they have been trained to use PeePee pads. However, My little 4 lb male lifts his leg and misses the pad constantly. This was the problem solution! I put 2 PeePee pads next to each other as always, however now i just stir this little tree right in the middle. He aims for it now and it has solved 90% of his misses. Weekly I just pick it up, rinse it off in the bathtub, spray it with some windex and rise again. The only issue I have is the stems fall out of the designated holes easily. I will be using hot glue to adhere them and it will also prevent using from going inside the holes. It rinses so easily so Im really happy with this.

We live in the Midwest and winters can be brutal, we get snow dumped on us and my dogs do not appreciate the cold and more importantly, I don’t either. This year, we made a potty area for them to let them in our deck with a tray covered in artificial grass and although the concept was great, one of my dogs would go pee on the furniture or our grill. Gross! It is bad enough to let them potty on our deck but we want to be able to easily remove the pee zone but wanted to keep it where it would isolate where they potty. I decided that whenever we go for walks, he has to stop and make his mark on every little bush or tuft of grass we pass by so when I saw this, I thought hmm. Let’s see what this does. Well let me tell you, it has been a game changer! He pees where he is supposed to! My problem is solved! He does his business, and I can watch him from the warmth of my home. Best idea ever!! Seems to be well made so hopefully it will last but if not, it is pretty cheap and I think should get changed out anyway for hygiene purposes so- win-win for me!!

It helped me trained my dog. I'm not sure what it is but as soon as I let him go outside to use the restroom, he runs to the Fern. Will definitely buy it again. Also its easy to clean.

I like the idea of it but for us the grass is too far away from the edge of the pad which may work for you. I recommend paying better attention to the dimensions than I did and know that the holes for the grass are all on the side that goes on the interior.

Grass would not stay in peg holes on stand clip. Constantly coming out. Threw it away.
