On recommendation from my dad for my girlfriend's dad, this is a fantastic album! A particular favourite is Hey Porter!

Great album, poor packaging & a CDr not a CD copy
Love the music but this version (for £4.99 when I bought it) is a replicated CDr not a CD. If it had een nadvertised as a CDr I would have avoided it. Onthe US Amazon n n site they make it clear that this is CDr format not CD, the Uk site needs to do the same. The tray inlay is poorly cut and the booklets reproduction is poor as well, some of the text is unreadable. I could have done a better job using my own CD burner and printer.

Früher fand ich das Cover auf der LP schon Klasse. Jetzt gibt es die Musik von Ry Cooder auf CD. Auf seiner neuen Live-CD (2011 in San Francisco) bringt Ry Cooder wieder seine vor allem aus dieser Zeit stammenden Songs - er selbst sieht wohl auch, wie zeitlos diese Songs sind. Sie können nicht altern und immer wieder kann man sie hören.

Great musician,killer slide guitarists
What a great album i love every song on this album ry cooders guitar work shines on this album also he plays the mandolin beautifully i love it great musicianship i love the slide guitar work on vigilante man cooder is one of the best slide guitarists ever and it shows on this particular album i recommend this to anybody that loves guitar or any other string instrument teardrops will fall is a killer song and i love denomination blues great dream from heaven is a beautiful instrumental piece ry cooder is a huge influence to me when it comes to guitar playing and this album makes me want to learn the mandolin too he plays it beautifully
