My 7-yr old son loves these because they are a bit wider than some of the other DC styles, which makes them easier to put on. He has had several pairs and they hold up. However, a skate shoe design like this doesn't have the same arch support as running style shoe, so I wouldn't use it for running, but for everyday play its fine.

Awesome and great shoe..only fits narrow footed children tho...not wide feet :( my son really wanted them..they just didn't work out
