Can the five inch thermometer fit in the mouths of adults and give accurate readings?

The readings were very low and inaccurate. I threw mine away.

Is the battery replaceable?

I haven't had it long enough to try to replace the battery, but, according to the instruction sheet, it is replaceable.

Is this an oral thermometer? I dont understand if this is measured in the armpit or in the mouth

It will work in the mouth, in the armpit, But you would have to have awful good ears to hear the beep that tells you to check it. I have never heard the beep.
