Originally I was using a $5 arduino controller and although I liked the functionality of the arduino more with more options, etc. It was unreliable and tougher to set up. I decided to replace with this and it's worked flawlessly. Admittedly the app could use some work but overall a good little device. Also I cannot figure out how to save scenes although I see the option it doesn't do anything. Also if a developer is reading this review please add the lighting effect called "lightning" where it emulates lightning strikes by randomly lighting up parks of blue/white around the strips.
