This 1013D is occupying the same space formerly occupied by a TDS210 - it's a small, medium bandwidth 2ch scope I use for probing vintage computers I'm repairing, and debugging embedded projects based on small controllers like the ESP32. It's fairly low resolution (8-bit DAC) but perfectly adequate for basic inspection and debugging tasks. Instructions are thin but sufficient. It's a fairly versatile tool, but if you want more options you can upgrade to one of their models that has built-in sig gen and multimeter (I have one of those too). It's a little weird to get used to a 100% touch interface if you're used to traditional scopes with knobs and buttons (there's a lot of places where you just have to know where to tap, no onscreen cues), but once you're familiar with it it's easy to operate.
