Ryzen 5 5600GT 6-Core, 12-Thread Desktop Processor

The most important thing to know about the Ryzen 5 5600GT is that it’s an excellent foundation for a first gaming computer. I installed this in a brand-new build for my daughter as her first PC, and it has been more than capable for everyday use and light gaming with room to grow. I chose the 5600GT specifically because of its balance of price and capability. It delivers solid performance without overcomplicating the build or budget. In day-to-day use, the system feels fast and responsive for her needs. I paired it with a used NVIDIA GPU rather than relying on the integrated graphics, so I can’t speak to iGPU gaming performance, but with a discrete card it performs exactly as expected. Temps and power usage have been completely fine with a standard cooling setup, and installation on the motherboard was straightforward with no hiccups. This CPU is ideal for a first gaming setup or a budget-conscious build. If you’re chasing high-end performance, there are better options, but for starting out, this is a great choice.

Works great! I don't need a video card to run all of my everyday functions! I have 2 monitors hooked up and everything works fine. Speed is very good.

This is a good CPU or APU option for those looking to upgrade from something like 1st or 2nd gen ryzen. With the latest BIOS update and a reset I had no issues. Depending on the benchmark, there's anywhere from a 15% to 75% performance improvement over the 1600X. I think there are better options out right now if you already have a DDR5 platform, as the max memory speed for this APU is 3200 MHz. For the price, and my needs I would buy it again.

Used this in my new computer build, adding it to an ASUS TUF Gaming A520M motherboard. It comes with a AMD cooling Fan (which had a light amount of thermal grease installed). I opted to wipe off the thermal grease that was preinstalled on Fan Heatsink, and put on a high quality grease I trust. Not to say theirs is not adequate, I just did not know what type or grade they use. When I powered on the new system, every thing powered up fine. Installed the OS, and system is working wonderfully with this processor. System is fast, and graphics worked great too, and at an optimal temp. I did add an additional GPU card to run off of, but is nice to know the integrated graphics will work for me, if my GPU graphics card ever goes down. This is my first AMD processor I have used in a build (always having gone with the other brand), and I am very happy with the result, as well as the cost savings over the other brand. Would buy AMD brand processor again, and recommend to others.

No problems with CPU, it works great just like all my other Ryzen CPU's but box was already opened when I received it so I'm only giving 4 stars. Amazon and/or sellers have been really terrible lately and I've received salvage and open box items despite paying for "new" or "open-box very good" (salvage item).

I selected this processor as the CPU for my computer setup, and the performance it delivers has been really good overall. The PC runs a somewhat heavy operating system, like Windows 11 Pro, and yet the PC doesn't lag at all, and in games it performs in line with its integrated graphics. It's not the best, but it's the best for its price, and for starters, it's a gem. I recommend this CPU for those who are about to get into PC gaming and don't have the money to build an expensive PC.

I had an old computer that the motherboard bricked on me so I needed to replace it. The 5600 GT is a 6-core processor like the 5600xbut it it's cheaper and also has built-in graphics, which is nice if you don't want to run a GPU. I was able to buy a B550 motherboard and the 5600GT CPU for just about $350 and use the old RAM and a GTX 1080 to get my old rig back up and running. I use it as a spare so we can check emails and that sort of thing but my son jumped on it to do a little gaming and it played at an acceptable frames rate without stutter. There is no longer state-of-the-art but it's very acceptable for a budget rebuild especially if you don't need a discreet GPU.

Installed easily and works great. The included cooler is very silent - I can hardly tell when the PC is running.

Nothing to dislike. All is good. I am building a low cost gaming computer.

Ho scelto questo processore (Ryzen 5 5600GT) perchè dovevo assemblare una build con un budget limitato e trovandolo in warehouse ad un prezzo aggressivo ho preso questo al posto del Ryzen 5 5600G leggermente più performante con i giochi. Entrambi i modelli sono provvisti di GPU integrata quindi perfetta al mio scopo. Questo processore ha 6 core e 12 thread più che valido per il lavoro che deve svolgere (uso generico e domestico). Nella confezione è presente anche il dissipatore con la ventola più che dignitosa con connettore a 4 pin, sicuramente insufficiente per chi invece deve "giocare" con l'overclock. Per abbattere i costi del PC ho preferito prendere questo tipo di processore (che avesse una GPU integrata così da non dover acquistare una scheda grafica a parte) ma adeguata per un gaming leggero visto che come GPU è una Radeon Vega 7 Questo processore lo si monta su socket AM4, io l'ho installato su una scheda madre molto economica ma perfettamente funzionante e compatibile della GIGABYTE A520M S2H installandoci 2 banchi di memoria G.Skill RAM DDR4 da 8 GB per un totale da 16 GB. CONCLUSIONI: E' il processore da prezzo prestazioni, consigliabile per un PC che può fare un po' di tutto compreso il gaming leggero e senza spendere un occhio della testa. Ho allegato un video e alcune foto sperendo di esservi stato utile in qualche modo.
