Love this light. Very tough and compact. I've taken it on a lot of adventures. The battery life and power is impressive, very bright even underwater. So far I've had no leaks or problems with the battery. The only thing I don't really like is the way the switch works. Should be easier to simply turn on and off. I have two of these lights in different sizes.

This seems like a great deal on a well made and very bright light. I've not dove with it yet but heading to Roatan in a few weeks, so I'll test it then. I bought a holster for it and used a piece of bungee in place of the cord that came with it. I loop that over the holster a over the top of the flashlight as seen in the picture. This ensures that it is securely attached but readily accessible on my BCD. I have another primary light for night dives and wreck penetration dives, so this will be my backup light on those dives, but on daylight dives this will be my primary light for looking into dark holes. The only thing that would be nice is a way to lockout the power switch to ensure it doesn't accidentally turn on. The battery is easily available on Amazon along with chargers, so for those that are concerned about that, it's not a problem to get replacements. I'll update this after a dozen or so dives.

Ich habe vor kurzem die APLOS AP50 Unterwasserlampe gekauft und sie gestern erhalten. Heute hatte ich die Gelegenheit, sie in einem See bei etwa 13 Metern Tiefe zu testen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass ich sehr enttäuscht von der Leistung dieser Lampe bin. Die APLOS AP50 soll auf Stufe 1 beeindruckende 5000 Lumen und auf Stufe 2 noch 2000 Lumen erreichen. In der Realität war die Lichtstärke jedoch alles andere als konstant. Besonders auf Stufe 1 fiel mir auf, dass die Lampe von selbst abdunkelte, ohne dass ich den Knopf betätigen musste. Dieses unerwartete Verhalten machte das Tauchen extrem frustrierend. Um die Lampe für die nächsten 40 Sekunden wieder in einen akzeptablen Zustand zu bringen, musste ich sie immer wieder neu aus- und einschalten. Diese ständige Unterbrechung und der Bedarf, den Lichtfluss manuell zu steuern, waren nicht nur nervig, sondern gefährdeten auch meine Sicherheit unter Wasser. An Orten, wo konstantes Licht erforderlich ist, kann ein solches Versagen inakzeptabel sein. Abgesehen von diesem schwerwiegenden Mangel bietet die Lampe zwar einige interessante Funktionen, doch die grundlegendste Anforderung – ein zuverlässiges und konstantes Licht – wird nicht erfüllt. Daher kann ich die APLOS AP50 nicht empfehlen. Für ernsthafte Taucher gibt es sicherlich bessere Alternativen auf dem Markt, die keine derartigen Probleme aufweisen.
