No matter what you do outside, there will be times when you wished you could write something down, but, it starts to rain and all your pages stick together or smudge. With the wonder paper in this notebook you can forget that worry. You will need to understand a couple of things, the pages are smooth but not slick, the pencil writting you do will be a little on the light side so use a softer lead so it will have a better contrast. Use a waterproof pen (sold on Amazon) which writes upside down and through drops of water on the paper. The pen I use does tend to skip a little, but not enough to bother me. Another thing is, everything you write in the book needs to be in waterproof form. Don't use a regular pen and not expect things you have already written will not smudge. So, if you need a way to keep track of the written word or picture and expect high moisture or rain then this is a good option and comes in many sizes.

Smaller than expected but that's my own fault for not paying more attention to the measurements... These will easily fit in the back pocket of most pants. We haven't used them heavily yet to see how they hold up, but they appear to be high quality. Binding is two staples, total pages per book- 24. Good little notebooks!

This is a great durable edc notebook too keep on you. The hard plastic cover keeps the pages from getting crushed effectively. I write on this using a fisher space pen or a mechanical pencil both write well. The only thing I dislike is that there are on 12 pages, 24 counting the backsides of the sheets....this keeps things slim but would like to see more pages for the price.

Love these books over the field notes much tougher and don't get torn up in my pocket.

I like the product, but didn't realize how small the notepad was, or how few pages were in it. I suppose this is my fault for failing to recognize the published dimensions, but I just assumed that they would be bigger (to correlate with the cost).

Quite a bit smaller than expected and not very many pages to write on.

I work outside...Rain, wind, snow whatever...11 hrs a day and I cant remember everything...I use these as my "Analog Memory" The first batch was stretched for 1 year before they were replaced with these, fingers crossed. Pencil erases ok, a bit difficult to write on when wet but it survives.

great product, came as a pack of 3 for $14 and change, went to order more but the seller jacked the price up an additional $6. in conclusion, good price at $14, don't bother at $20

Excelente producto como es de esperarse de la marca. El único inconveniente que tuve fue ver que en la parte de adentro no cuenta con las diferentes conversiones y demás reglas que el modelo de espiral sí tenía.
