It's a shelf
Works for my wifi router.. easy to install and i used the sticky strip with screws and it stays. Have no issues with a little shelf.. my router is kinda round and it fits. Tv is mounted to the wall and this fits behind the TV and doesn't interfere with the movements of the tv
