Cool thing to have on my shelf. The flip mechanism is smooth and doesn't have any problems for me. Noise of every minute flipping isn't really noticeable unless you're paying attention to it. The hour switching does make a louder noise which I personally prefer.

I purchased this clock because I had a similar one as a kid and always thought it was unique. I chose the version with the black tiles and white numbers and the walnut base. I wasn't sure it would meet my expectations, but it actually exceeded them. The factory packaging was very robust and the clock arrived in perfect condition. It was actually a little larger than I had imagined, which was actually a plus for me. I could find no issues with the fit and finish. The setup was quick and straightforward. It has been running for over a week now with no issues, and has kept perfect time so far. The only unknowns now will be longterm accuracy and lifespan. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this item to others. I couldn't find any reason to rate this less than 5 stars at this point.

I don't know if the printing is wrong on this device or what but the AM and PM from 12-1 is backwards, it goes from 12-12:59 AM then switches to 1PM and vice versa.

Writing this review a good year after purchase. Couldn't be happier with this clock. It works, it keeps quite good time, and was everything the seller claimed it would be. In the time I've had it, I've changed the D-cell battery once. about eight months in. It's completely silent except for a very subtle "pat" as a leaf falls down to reveal the next digit once a minute. Take a moment to fully read the directions before you set this up. Nothing complicated, but they clarify a couple of things that aren't immediately obvious. Glad I purchased it. Highly recommended if you like this style of clock.

Very cool and fun design. However, by user error, it was knocked off a table ONE time from like 2 feet high and was basically impossible to fix. The clock itself was great… durability? Not so much.

I mean there’s not much to say i tells time and does it great. I’ve had it for about a month and it looks like it runs like 10-20 seconds behind constantly. But i think it’s the nature of the flappers so not a big deal. I have it on my desk at work so every minute i hear it flap and every hour it does the double flat. Feels like the day goes faster because i’m just hearing it in the back ground. The noise is about as loud as BIC ball point pen being drop about 10 inch onto a granite countertop. Totally recommend loved them so much i ended up with 2

Clean, works perfectly, looks good, doesn't make a lot of sounds, great for bedroom/living room, would buy it again
