I have Asus RT-Ax88u WiFi 6 router with 1 Gbps fiber . On my iPhone 15 max pro I never had speed more then 500-600 Mbps on 5 GHz WiFi channel . I configured dfs channel but being near airport it always switch to 40-80 bands . Once I bought this Velpoe WiFi-6E mesh/router no issue of WiFi 6 as it is uses 6 GHz band and Chanel 1. Now my mobile speed test shows 1 Gbps . Many old devices does not use this standard.

I got the Velop Pro 7 Wi-Fi router to fix the internet dropouts caused by my ISP's router. I also got two nodes from the Velop 7 mesh and connected them through a wired backhaul. Unfortunately, after 7 months, I am now experiencing more dropouts than with the ISP router. I keep getting the red light on the router and nodes, and I have to restart the system for it to work. Some days it works, but on many other days I have to restart it 4 or 5 times. I tried tinkering with the settings and updating the firmware, but nothing improved. I should note that when the router and nodes are working, the internet connection is very good, and the coverage is strong. The dropouts are the main issue.

Not meet my expectations And interface very basic

Used in conjunction with less-expensive Velop 6E units as slaves. Amazing (1 Gbps on WiFi6) performance between rooms (horizontally) , but vertical range massively limited by re-inforced concrete slabs. Excellent after sales support showed how to either daisy chain or alternatively backhaul the slaves to the Velop 7 Master (with 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports)

It keeps reconnecting and disconnecting the devices even if I am less than a meter near it I do not recommend it 👎

Posiadam Linksys Mx 5300 i mając iPhone 14 Pro Max nie odczułem żadnej znaczącej różnicy przesiadając się na Velop pro 7 . Moim zdaniem Mx 5300 ma lepszy zasięg od Velop pro 7 prędkości identyczne nawet chyba troszkę gorsze na Velop pro 7 . Rozczarowany .

A absolute huge total waste of money for me i also paid for professional setup I bought this setup because it was ment cure the problems I had with my linksys velop setup which was great but it had reached its limit and was struggling So I thought great ill get this it handles more devices just what I needed Setup is ment to be as easy all with app to clone your old router or node which it just would not do after so many etempt s and hours of trying think I must be doing something wrong. Any way payed for professional to come to get it up and running which they did up and running brilliant And since then nothing but problems on a daily basis loss of signal nodes loss of signal Devices disconnected and zero support from my Internet service provider because it is not there product supplied I totally get that but even when up and running the system is so unstable Summing up very very Disappointing and huge waste of money
