This is a nice roller set. It will curl your hair and put volume in like a salon blow out. The curlers are flocked with felt and very soft on your hair. They heat up and can be used fairly quickly, but it is better to leave them heat up completely. They are hot but will not burn your fingers unless you touch the metal inside the curler. The curlers are heavy since they are metal inside and will slide down out of your initial placement. The clips work well but after the curlers have been in place a few minutes, the heat and the weight of the curlers makes them hang down a bit. I have fine medium length hair with layers. I did not use any hair setting products the first time to see how best to use them. I left the curlers in until they cooled off, about 20 minutes while I put my make up on. It turned out wonderful and lasted most of the day, but the next time I will use some mouse and gel during the hair drying process before I use the hot rollers. Hair setting lotions or mouse will help the curls hold better if the hair is fine. A hot roller set is a nice switch from using a curling iron, it seems much faster. I love this set and the price is great, It came in overnight, in one day.

There is definitely a learning curve to using rollers in general, but these are very good. They heat up very quickly, but I give it a few extra minutes to make sure they’re super toasty. The clips are a little flimsy, but anything more sturdy would leave imprints, so it just requires a little practice to get them to stick. I like that they’re all the same size, so I never feel like I’m running out of the one I need.

. I am very pleased with this particular set. I have used Conair hot rollers for at least 25 years and have liked them all. This set I like the best. My old set was a different set of Conair rollers and I decided to change it up and buy one with more rollers. The old set had 2 sizes large and very large. My hair is shoulder length and I wanted all the rollers to be one size. I loved that they get warm but not so hot it burns your scalp, which my old set would do when using the metal clips. I find these rollers hold a curl for the full day...and I can wake up and still have fluffy hair. I am deducting one star because the set does not come with the metal clips...only the plastic clips. I ordered a set of metal clips here on Amazon and will likey throw the plastic ones away. The plastic clips do not hold tight while waiting for the rollers to cool. The felt on the rollers hold much better than my old set. Overall pleased I chose this set. This product is a new version of an old one I had for many years. They both got very hot. This is to be expected. I will use Kleenex against my skin to protect it from the heat because it leaves a bit of a red mark. But they give really nice curls. Saves my hair from getting damaged from a flat iron and curling iron. I have layered shoulder length hair. Perfect for hot rollers. These rollers are large and give beautiful wavy hair. I just pull my fingers through the curls to give it some natural body and give it a spritz of hairspray to hold it. I always get compliments when I use the hot rollers. People complained about the smell. Anything made from plastic is going to smell when it’s heated up. Especially the first few tries. I loved the old rollers I had but the cover had broken and I couldn’t get them to get hot enough. So I decided to upgrade. I got an open box and saved a few bucks there. It was worth it.

These were a huge disappointment. I don't know if it's because of the clip that holds them in place or because each roller has a slit along the body of the roller that allows it to sit in the case, but my hair was left with marks that almost looked like crimping. Also, the heat level on these is seriously lacking and didn't do a great job curling my hair. So I got unwanted crimp marks and no curls.

The rollers are nice, but they do not get hot enough to really curl my hair. Need something stronger

I have had my old set of hot rollers for 35 years. It was the typical set of small, medium, and large, when you really just wanted jumbo. I’ve been searching forever and found these. After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to try them out. Wow!! They are PERFECT!! I plug them in while I’m drying my hair and they are ready when I’m done. I have very thick, coarse hair. The 12 rollers are the exact number I need to accomplish in one step. The clips are super easy to use and hold in place. I keep the rollers in for about two minutes. Actually, once I complete rolling all my hair, I immediately start taking out the first rollers. With the pictures, you can see what is accomplished in two minutes. If I want less curl, I leave them in for one minute. If I want a lot of curl, I leave them in for five minutes. I would recommend gently taking the hair out of the roller without pulling it so that it maintains the curl. Allow your hair to cool for a few minutes before running your hands through it. That’s what I did in the last picture. Since these are so easy, I’m traveling with these in my carry-on. It is a game changer and I am so thrilled to finally find exactly what I’ve been looking for.

I love these Conair Hot Rollers and they do such a great job curling my thick, long hair. I have tried so many newer devices but I always go back to my hot rollers. I was past due to get a new set and did lots of research before purchasing the Conair set. I could not be happier with them! My hair holds a curl twice as long, even with my very thick hair. There are plenty of rollers in the set and it is very good quality. You can’t go wrong with this set!

Very bad, cheap quality and unpractical product

This broke after one use

They arrived so fast I might as well have gone to town and picked them up. They heat up quickly and quite hot (the right hot) . They work great, the clips are so much better then the pins. Its easy to store, flat top.

Within 5 minutes of switching on started an electrical fire
