Easy to use and easy to clean! Added my recipe here as well.
I have been using this for several weeks now and I have to say that I really enjoy this cold brew pitcher. When I say itโs easy to use and easy to clean, I really mean it. Here is my recipe, and it doesnโt require a bunch of super precise measurements: 1) Use 4 ounces (115 grams) of medium-coarse ground coffee. I prefer a medium-dark roast for cold brew, but choose your own adventure. 2) Add the ground coffee to the center filter cartridge. The 4 oz amount I note above nicely fills the filter basket to the top. 3) Attach the filter full of coffee to the lid and screw it down. Pour clean fresh water (filtered is best) down through the grounds until the pitcher is full of water. No need to fuss over the specific amount of water here. Just slowly pour it in until the pitcher is full. 4) Screw the cap on, give it a bit of a cheeky shake, and let it sit on the counter for around 12-16 hours. The longer it sits, the stronger it will be. Iโve read that much more than 18 hours cause funky tasting coffee. I will occasionally give it a bit of a shake when I happen to walk by it, but itโs not necessary and only needs to be enough of a shake to agitate the mixture a bit. I find that I drink my cold brew in the afternoons, so when I finish out the batch, I make up a new batch that afternoon, and itโs ready when I get up the next morning. 5) After the 12-16 hours, take the filter cartridge out, let the liquid drain into the pitcher, and set the cartridge aside while you get the coffee squared away. Some folks may choose to top off the pitcher with filtered water, but I prefer to keep it as-is for when I add sweet cream to it. Keeping it as-is also keeps the coffee from getting too dilute if you like it over ice. 6) When you are ready, take the filter to your preferred disposal spot - I usually dump my used grounds in the plant bed - unscrew the base cap, give the filter a little shake, and the grounds will easily drop free since the shape is flared toward the opening. Rinse it out and set aside to dry. Thatโs it! Pro tips: An optional step I like to do is pour the cold brew through a paper filter to remove the larger sediment from the brewing. This gives the coffee a smoother, less gritty mouth feel. Return the filtered coffee to the pitcher, screw on the cap, and youโre ready to go. If you like nitro cold brew with cream, but donโt have a nitro device, I find that using a milk frother with the sweet cream gives it a bit more of a creamier mouth feel that somewhat mimics the nitro experience. To summarize, this pitcher makes the process of homemade cold brew very simple. The pitcher is sturdy and the pieces align very well. The design of the filter is easy to clean, which is the opposite of many other brewing options. The lid secures snugly and keeps the coffee from leaking under normal use. I really donโt have any complaints at all, and using this saves me quite a bit of time and money over running to a coffee shop. If youโre on the fence, just get it. ๐

So much goodness with this machine and it started with some correspondence.
My only two wishes were that I could figure out how this shuts off, and that this were in a larger size! Imagine opening up an item and seeing the note that I have attached to this review in a photo. That's reassuring and something that I have not seen in any product at any time. The machine itself is similar to the one that I had to replace, only a wee bit smaller. I can set it first thing in the morning to start while I am getting ready to go, and by the time I am finished, it has 10 oz of cold brew to go for my protein coffee. The one I just replaced would make double this, but it's the same principle. Place the grounds in the filter, place fresh water into the vessel, place the filter into the vessel, set the time, and start the machine. It's that simple. My former machine would do up to 40 minute increments, which was the boldest brew you could get for a cold brew. This is especially helpful when using flavored coffees, as it gives it a chance to create a flavor profile for the coffee cold brew. This machine, despite it's size, can run up to 99 minutes, but has presets of 10, 30, and 45 minutes. The 10 minute setting is really a weak flavor, 30 being moderate, and 45 being strong and bold. It's pretty self-explanatory, easy to use, and what's great is if it's fully charged, you can run it just about anywhere with no issues. Even better, if you forget to charge it, like I do a times, you can actually use this machine while it is charging. I was antsy to try this machine, did not fully charge it, but washed all the parts, and I was able to use it while it was still charging, and It produced wonderfully. This was very easy to clean. It was even easier than my old machine, which is understandable because my old machine produced up to 20 oz and it was set up almost like an old coffee like machine. The grounds coming out of the filter when it was time to clean up with simple just tap it out rinse the filter if you so desired you could also use a little tiny bit of soap and water, and it came out beautifully clean. The motor part was simple enough at the amperage and it was clean. It has an ice chamber so that you can make your cold brew iced, although I'm a purist and prefer my cold brew without the ice. I prefer using my ice after I've made my drink. Which brings me to when the machine is finished as long as you follow the directions on releasing the coffee to get the rest of it out, the cleanup is even easier than you could imagine. Like I said I love the fact that it's portable, I'm able to take it even if I were to not trust it to stay in my kitchen and I wanted to take it with me to, say, the bathroom while I'm brushing my teeth and doing my hair, I could do that. Cold brew itself is simple to make, they tell you that you can let it sit for 12 to 24 hours and a jar of some sort or what have you, yeah, that sometimes can be a mess. So this actually makes the job easier for me, especially because I'm the only one that drinks coffee in my house. And I'm always going for the seasonal flavors, but the exception of the summer, when I absolutely crave mocha mint coffee, mainly because the mint has a cooling effect to the body, so this makes making my mocha mint drinks during the summer excellent. (Yes I've made one already, and it was absolutely sheer joy to have that drink after losing my old machine.) So your options for cold brew are so versatile, that you can have that cold pumpkin spice latte in the middle of September, and it's made from cold brew, and you don't have to go to one of those expensive coffee shops and spend all that money to get a quality product. I will also add that they say to use coarse grounds, I used medium grounds your basic ADC coffee grounds, and I had zero issues with everything and the machine cleaned up beautifully as well. I haven't tried leaving it sit somewhere where my cat can knock it over, but rest assured if that happened, it does probably hold up for that. However, I don't want to chance that. Also, rest assured that even in it's great packaging and the whole nine yards, it survived the trip here, has no broken parts, and because it is a plastic container, it's very heavy duty, very sturdy, and it probably could survive being knocked over a few times. Your controls for this are completely on the top of your lid. I will warn you however, they are very sensitive so be careful when trying to put it away or if you don't want it on. My last thing is you probably could drink out of the cup but I don't really think I would do that because it's so small of an amount, however, like I said you could, but it does pour great out of the cup and into a jar or into for example my blender to use to make my protein coffee. I'd like to say to the company you've made a great product, consider making a larger version of this, and you've got a customer ready to buy one right here. I like the way this machine functions, and it's probably one of the better investments that I could have made in a while, aside from my portable blender. And the note, that was just the added cherry on top. So run, do not walk, and get one of these machines, you won't be sorry!

Worth every penny!
I really want to give 5 stars because this is something I didn't know I needed until I had it!!! I make sweet tea over night and it's the best I've ever had. The only con is that when you screw the lid/handle on it doesn't line up and is more to the side which is a bit awkward to pick up but nothing I can't live with. Absolutely worth buying and maybe they'll work out the handle thing in time. Also, excuse the color, it's not dirty, I was just starting another child brew.

Easy to make great cold brew coffee!
I wanted a cold brew coffee maker after discovering just how much less bitter cold brewed coffee tastes because of the reduced acidity. Besides, I've always liked iced coffee, so I don't have to water down hot coffee with a handful of ice cubes, but can have a hot cup when desired by simply using the microwave for a few seconds. I made my first pot yesterday afternoon so it would be ready this morning (approximately 16 hours), and am really impressed with how easy it was and how great it tastes. I'd read what seemed like a credible review, and this particular coffee maker was highly rated despite how affordable it is - so I purchased two of them so I'd always have a pot on hand in the refrigerator. Besides the user-friendly design of the unit's components, the shape of the carafe makes it easy to fit in the refrigerator without taking up much space. I also like the fact that it's made from Eastman's Tritan plastic, as we have a countertop distiller that uses this material for its carafe and I've found it to be really durable while not incorporating any of the chemical compounds that have been found to be harmful. I don't know how durable it will turn out to be, but my current impression is that I'll definitely get my money's worth and then some with just a little care on my part.

Great for ice coffee or iced tea
Great and easy to use. It's been amazing to use in summer for ice coffee or ice tea. Good size that will fit in your fridge and I had no issues with taste.

Love this!
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it. It's very easy to use and clean. It fits perfectly into the door of my fridge for easy access. I drink one yeti of coffee each day and this makes enough coffee to last me through the week. I have not experience any leaking from the pitcher. It does have a slow stream from it, but that's not an issue for me. It's functional, and creates a wonderful cold brew! Not to mention the price being super cheap compared to other items that are similar on the market. I was using a mason jar with tea bags before to make my cold brew but it didn't have a pour spout - this takes the cake and I will never turn back.

Super easy to use!
Love this so much, I ordered them for my mom and sister! Easy to use and saves me so much money because instead of hitting the drive-thru, I can do it myself!

Okay but not great... very slow pouring.
I love cold brew, and this was recommended as the best on some website I found so for the price I thought I'd give it a try. It is easy to clean and fill, which are the pros. There are a few things I'd change though, and one big gripe. The things I'd change: 1) Some form of press that keeps the coffee grounds from surfacing when it's supposed to be brewing, almost always when I open the top after it sitting in the fridge for a day or two there is a dry layer of coffee grounds above the water line and the only way to stop that is to fill it so full that the grounds run into the water reservoir in my experience. A simple slight plunger/plug type thing on the lid that extends down an inch or so into the coffee ground basket would solve this (this also means not all the coffee grounds are being steeped properly. 2) My biggest gripe, because of the way the lid works where you do a 180 degree unscrew to pour, there is no air relief so it is EXTREMELY slow pouring more than a small cup, very quickly it goes to the "glub glub glub" gurgling pour. I use a 30oz mug and it takes a good 45 plus seconds to fill which is very frustrating in the morning when I just want to pour my coffee and get on with my day.

Decent, little flimsy.
Decent unit. Looks nice, but it feels like I am going to break it putting it together or apart.
