JOYO Dual Effects Line Selector Guitar Pedal, 6-Mode A/B Switcher with Independent Volume Control, Bypass (ORTHROS SELECTOR JF-24)

Best line selector since the Boss LS-2! Having used both, I have the Joyo one in my rig. They function almost exactly the same...except at a lot better price. This pedal is at the heart of my set up and is the second to last in my chains only followed by a noise suppressor. And yes, i said chains with an S...I run two channels, A&B, but start with an ABY pedal that splits into those two channels and then sums back at the end into the Joyo to adjust each line level. I'm the type that likes to push the limits of what i can do with what I've got and pedals like this and other FX loop/ line selectors help me do just that. It allows you to route things and try different ways of achieving a single goal using the pedals i already have (which is a lot). The best feature is the ability to adjust each lines volume. This is a feature that most pedals in this price range often overlook. But for me...its essential. The build quality is very durable. Solid metal housing and strong pots. There's even a place for a battery on the bottom (Something slowly disappearing from more and more pedals). All the connections have a good locked in feel to them and the foot switch is better than average. I took mine a step further and changed the knobs to match the color of the channels, just for easier use and honestly I wish they would do it on the next version of this pedal. Completely satisfied with everything about it that it has opened my eyes to other Joyo pedals as I was not familiar with the brand. This pedal has taken a beating and keeps on chugging away, switching channels flawlessly the whole way. The many different modes are a bonus as again, most others don't have this feature and they are always fun to use when experimenting with new sounds and routing ideas. Can't go wrong on this one. Just make sure you know its what you're looking for as opposed to a "Looper". This is not a looper, it does not record or allow for overdubs, etc. It's a line selection' switching tool. a very good one at that.

Interesting pedal playing 3 amps at a time or other strange configurations with fx loops. Goes beyond A B Y pedals because it has its own return inputs. Heads up, volume nobs only work when mixing in return levels. Not sure if it’s by design. But I’m sure it’s by design. Just seems strange. Works greats for mixing in other pedals like reverb and delays. I’m still getting to know the tech. It’s a nice invention. Regardless if I only used it to it’s minimal yet grand impact, 3 amps at once is a nice setup. This could be seen as breakthrough cloned musical technology. Great for small yet powerful setups. Versatile indeed. Don’t underestimate the power of 2 small amps in stereo or even a more powerful setup, one guitar, 3 amplifiers. Mono setups are overrated and stereo brings true stadium sound even with 2 1 watt tube amplifiers or good IR simulators/ emulators.

The JOYO Line Selector Pedal is perfect for my needs. I have two pedal boards that I use together. I didn’t like having both pedal boards connected together and running simultaneously because of the signal loss from too many patch cables and pedals. With this line selector pedal, I can easily switch from one pedal board to the other, or I can use them both together, if needed. Or I can bypass both boards and output directly to my amplifier. It is noiseless too. No hum, no hiss. Very simple to use, I figured it out in a few minutes without the instruction manual. Lightweight and it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the pedal board. It looks pretty cool, too. It is exactly what I needed. Makes my life playing music much easier. I gotta give a shoutout to JOYO. I have a few different pedals from them and I am a happy customer. They work well, no noise issues, simple to use, and they sound great. Best of all is their price tags. Very affordable. For the JOYO Line Selector Pedal, 5 stars. Very happy that I purchased it

The pedal does everything it claims with no degradation in the signal. The channel balancing feature is also very good. Similar pedals from "big brand" companies cost 4-5 times as much. This pedal does a good job of allowing two (or more) pedals to be ran in parallel (such as two overdrives...). Also, you can run two independent loops of pedals, switch between two different amps, etc. The only negative I had was in the layout of the loop input & output jacks... this might not be an issue for you, but you should consider it. But overall the sound quality/functions of the pedal is really well done.

This pedal provides the ability to switch between 2 audio chains and to control the volume of each separately. It works great! Two chains can be individually selected in a number of different combinations. Also, does not seem to color the audio at all, allowing the sound to pass through as generated by the individual audio chains. Definitely a good purchase, especially at this price.

I don’t have ANY experience with this kind of thing but I hooked it all up and POW it works great,I don’t hear any unwanted noise which is great,like it a lot

I gave this pedal 3 stars... Mainly because the "Level" pots do absolutely nothing unless you have a return plugged into it!!! So blending levels is a no go with this pedal just using its send!!! I would've given 5 stars and twice as much money if the pedal had an option to run all three outputs at the same time and the level knobs worked without needing a return... 😕 This pedal works good for running three amps at one time if you want to set it up that way but you "will need another pedal" to do it like that because this pedal does not run all three outputs at the same time it either runs both a and b or it will run your output with one of those a or b outputs... If you want to run three amps you're going to need something that has a stereo capability to where you can run your output to amp1 and then your send out to the Joyo line selector pedal in order to run all three amps at one time... This is a good cheap way to do that if you have the other pedal available otherwise this is a decent line selector if you're just trying to run two different amps or 2 loops.... but be aware that those "a level" and "b level" knobs do absolutely nothing to the level of your amplifier without the loop completed 😭 lol

I often use two pedal arrangements and have to unplug one and awp to the other, I was going to buy a Boss LS-2 Line selector, but when I saw this on Amazon at a third of the cost of the LS-2, it was a no-brainer! Works perfectly and is well bult in a cast metal case, nice Knobs and and large non-latching selector switch. The only thing I would mention is that the included operation leaflet is very basic and may not include enough information for someone new to using Line Selectors. NO problem though, just download the Boss LS-2 user manual because it works exactly the same way! I could not detect any sound degredation or added noise so I give it 5 stars and thoroughly reccomend it.

Cumple muy bien su función principal; lo uso en bajo eléctrico y no se nota pérdida de definición ni de sonido. Muy recomendable para iniciar a experimentar con efectos en paralelo.
