Perfect for a cabin or lake house
Our cabin has a well with potable, but VERY hard water. Our local Culligan dealer advised us to put in a whole-house water softener and a reverse osmosis filter at the kitchen sink to plumb our refrigerator. He also cautioned that we would have to change the filters more often because of the hardness, even after the softener! We have an RO filter at home, so the better answer for us was to buy three 5-gallon water bottles, fill them at home or a local store, and haul them to the cabin. So we had drinking water, but still no ice and water in the door. Enter the Flojet-this little pump is a cinch to install (it took longer to slide the refrigerator out and push it back) and works perfectly. Other reviewers have complained about the noise, and I found it was much quieter resting on the concrete floor. When I mounted it on the wall, it was definitely much louder. This unit works flawlessly, and is very quiet if care is taken about placement.

awesome idea
We have been looking for something to supply bottle water to our refrigiator ice maker and water dispenser for some time and this had worked great so far it is a little noisey so locate it away from where you spend alot of time. Would sugest locating this in a garage or basement that is heated. This pump only runs when there is a demand for water so most of the time it is off and quiet. Small price to pay for clean water in our fridge.

Excellent solution for side by side refrigerators!!
I recently bought a side by side refrigerator with water dispenser. The only problem is that in the Dominican Republic the tap water is not potable so you have to use this system with a bottle of drinking water. The jet Flow works great, pumped water with adequate pressure. It is very easy to install and the box comes with installation manual. opportunities for improvement: * Try the product is quieter, when this power makes a sound that can be a little unpleasant, like a "hum". * The suction tube that goes inside the water tank should be longer, adjustable height, or ending in a curve to make the most of the water inside the bottle, because the tube is at a distance of 2 inches from the bottom of the bottle and therefore remain an amount of water is not pumped.

Great ,Great ,Great
This is the best product I have bought in a long time , having fresh ice again is wonderful. Do not worry about this product it's a win ,win. Easy setup ,15 minutes from box to completion. Someone wrote that it is noisy, but that is not true ,the pump only activates when air pressure is needed, when the pump kicks on it's only on for less then 5 seconds, other then that it is quiet. When pump kicks on it's no louder then the exhaust fan over your stove.

Be wary
I bought this pump for our new kitchen. It worked great for about two months, then leaked (from the inside of the pump unit, not the hose fittings) and burned out, spilling hot oily water all over our new cabinets from all around the pump unit seam. It was under warranty, so we had it replaced. I have no complaints about the customer service on that front. The replacement pump worked for about 2 weeks before doing the same thing. As I said, this was not leaking from the hose fittings, but from the seams of the pump module itself. We had it installed by a professional, so this was not some customer error. Unfortunately, this has caused water damage to our brand new cabinets and the hassle of having a water system and faucet that simply does nothing. While one time might have been bad luck, twice is no coincidence. I gave it 2 stars, only because when it works, it works great, and customer service was a breeze. If you buy it, heed my warning: make sure the unit is somewhere safe for water leaks and keep all return information handy.

Great!!
When our water cooler went out and leaked all over the kitchen, we looked around for options. I really hated the looks of the water cooler, as well as the amount of space it took up in my kitchen. Being on well water, we had never had the option of using our refrigerator/freezer water hook-up, and when I saw this I was very excited -- albeit skeptical. Well, we have had this connected to our refrigerator water line for about a year now, and we couldn't be happier. The bottles sit out in the garage, all lined up to transfer the pump to from one to the other as they empty. No more lifting bottles! The most important thing to me, though, is the lovely bottled-water ice cubes and chilled water that is always available now. Someone should have thought of this a long time ago!!
