It stands up by itself without any plastic or metal framing which means it can be packed flat in a suitcase and washed in the washing machine when you’re home. It has two handle lengths so it can be carried like a tote or a backpack depending on how full it is or how tall you are. It has little mesh pockets on the outside which were perfect for storing laundry pods and dryer sheets. I didn’t care for the inner flap that lets you expand the top to hold more as this is such a big basket that doing so would’ve made it impossible for me to carry it - but I could see how people might appreciate this feature so I’m not taking stars off. The fabric is nice and thick too so I didn’t worry about clothes getting dirty or damaged when being carted to the laundromat/cabin/home. Overall great for traveling.
