do you have to use it all at once? Will it save?

It will save. The cap is designed to keep the resin and hardener separate when you screw it back on. I have no idea what the official figure for shelf life of an open pack is, but I have used one after a year with roughly 25% left with complete success. However, I have also had a pack where the hardener stopped flowing nicely, so how carefully you put the cap back on is crucial.
