Informative, entertaining, and well written
Robin Cousins is to me the best figure skater to ever take the ice. Technically precise and inventive. Artistically unmatched before and since he won the Olympic gold medal in 1980. This book is an easy, informative read filled with anecdotes about himself, his family and his fellow skaters and coaches. It covers his years as a child, how he discovered the ice, his amateur career and most enjoyably, his professional career...on and off the ice and in musical theater. If you're a figure skating fan, or simply a fan of any great talented artist, I most highly recommend this book.

He's Private about his Personal Life!
Robin Cousins MBE is a well-known British figure skater who won the Men's Gold Medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. This book holds back a lot on his personal life. He doesn't discuss his relationships with men or women personally. He is very professional regarding his sport and his book acknowledges the challenges that he faces. But he won't discuss his sexual orientation and that's fine with me. I still think it's worth the buy if you love the sport of figure skating.
