I should have bought one of these long ago. No more bad crimps, or loose connections! A good, solid pair of crimping pliers, does crimping, stripping, and cutting of wires, very versatile. Great value for the money, too.

This is a good shop tool. Great for working on my classic cars.

This is a nice set of terminal crimpers, but the jaws don't open enough to allow an insulated 14 or 12 size terminal into the innermost crimping die. You have to pre-crimp the barrel of the terminal in order to get it thin enpough to get into that innermost crimping die, where you can then finish the crimp properly. The Half-round dies don't have that issue, but they aren't as professional as the square dies. The reason the innermost die is so tight is because the Locking Pin is one milimeter too close to the fulcrum (pivot), which limits the jaw opening. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars.

I liked that every feature in needed for wire crimping is thoughtfully included: wire stripper, crimping tool for both bare and shrink-type connectors. The tool fits nicely in my hand and (very important!) can be locked in the closed position.

This is a great tool to have. It crimps cuts and strips wires effortlessly. I bought a more expensive crimper first and it required so much force to crimp that my hands hurt for days. This tool made the job easy. I recommend it. Update 06/22/25 The more I use this tool the more I like it. It makes crimping easy. The more expensive tool I have is no longer used because it requires unreasonable force to crimp which is not good on the hands.

Average crimping tool. The grip is long for good leverage, but too straight and gets in the way when trying to insert crips into interior part. Not bad, not great

I finally had a chance to use this replacing the propane detector in my motorhome. It was different than others I have because the crimper is at the top, and stripper is close to the pivot, making leverage easy, since I have a bad hand and in close quarters sometimes choose my tool for me. Stripping was a sharp tool, I prefer the crimper at the top, sized so you may see it.
