Winch Failed and left me stranded !!
Very disappointed. Fitted on power boat trailer, first time out and recovering the cogs started slipping, wouldn't winch. Ended up on with boat half off trailer , tide ebbing. Took 5 kind jetbikers to rescue situation manually. Flimsy and unsafe construction. Now looking for a sturdy two speed replacement.

The winch was exactly what I needed. It arrived on time and fits my boat trailer perfectly. The quality was great and all the fittings needed were supplied.

Metal base not robust enough
Maybe this is fine in some use cases but I found the metal used for the base is too soft and it buckles when used with a heavy load (well under the rated 3500lbs) pulling it away from the mounting. Also note that the handle needs space below the level of whatever you mount it on. This meant, in my case, I could only get half a turn of the handle before having to remove the handle and reposition it. It does not have a ratchet. Maybe some better photos would make its restrictions clearer to the buyer.

Poor Quality
Quality was rubbish. Cogs all misaligned causing unit to jam. In frustration. Smashed it/Angle Grinder and binned it.

Good quality, good price.
I have bought a lot of vevor products and the quality has always been very good, while saving me money. This one is no exception. I got it because the o e on my boat trailer was getting pretty crusty from the salt environment. Now, this one is steel and has painted surfaces, so over time it may rust. However, I wash everything off after each use. The last one I had was also steel and it lasted 10 years, so this one should do just as good. Of course you could spend more, but for the quality of this and expected life expectancy, this one gets the job done.
