Sturdy build, tough as nails. I wank this around as well as my 2-year-old, and it works perfectly still. Super fast. Super convenient with usb c to usb a tip.

The title says it all. Plug and play, read a CFExpress Type B adapter with an M.2 drive just fine, does everything it's supposed to. I will say that it's heavier than expected and the USB cable as installed is pliable and feels well put together. I'm genuinely impressed and the quality with this as I wasn't expecting much.

It reads CFexpress B cards perfectly well. Nice and fast, and the little guy feels well made. Turns out I needed to read some smaller SD cards during my last photo adventure (oops) so wish I had spent the extra buck for a combo.

Just got this card reader. It seems to work fine. Most importantly, it is compatible with my iPad. I can transfer photo files from the CFexpress Type B card from my camera to an SSD using the iPad as the intermediary. So, when I take a photo trip, I can leave the laptop at home. It does not even require a powered hub. Hopefully it will be durable.

Works as advertised, seems to be as fast as another CFexpress reader I have, but unlike the other one doesn't also have an SD slot. This would be a much more useful reader with the SD slot; for now it's living with my desktop which has an SD slot while the other reader with the CFexpress and SD slot goes on the road with me. One star off for lacking the SD slot. My ratings: just like school - A - excels. B - does a solid job, could do a little better C - does the job, but barely D - either doesn't work, is cheaply made or has major issues. F - flat out doesn't work or is actually dangerous. Vine reviews get the same scrutiny as products I paid for.

Tips: Look for files on destination device sized with 0 bytes, count number of bytes and files on both the card and destination storage. Ich habe den BENFEI CFexpress Typ-B Kartenleser bestellt, da ich regelmäßig große RAW-Datenmengen von meiner Kamera sichern muss und nach einer zuverlässigen, schnellen und unkomplizierten Lösung gesucht habe. Nach rund vier Wochen im Einsatz bin ich wirklich zufrieden und möchte meine Eindrücke teilen. Der Kartenleser wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und macht auch optisch einen soliden Eindruck. Besonders praktisch finde ich die 2-in-1-Lösung mit USB-C und USB-A, da ich so flexibel an meinem MacBook, dem stationären PC und gelegentlich sogar am Android-Tablet arbeiten kann — ohne ständig Adapter mitschleppen zu müssen. Die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit ist absolut überzeugend. Ich habe mit einer CFexpress Typ-B-Karte von 128 GB mehrere große Video- und Bilddateien übertragen und erreiche dabei konstant Geschwindigkeiten von 800–900 MB/s (gemessen mit Blackmagic Disk Speed Test und CrystalDiskMark). Damit ist der Reader spürbar schneller als mein vorheriges Gerät, das deutlich teurer war. Die Plug & Play-Funktionalität funktioniert unter macOS, Windows und sogar am Android-Smartphone problemlos. Karte rein, wird sofort erkannt, keine Treiber notwendig, kein lästiges Setup. Genau so sollte es sein. Auch nach längeren Datentransfers bleibt das Gehäuse angenehm kühl — ein Punkt, der mir wichtig ist, da manche andere Kartenleser gerne mal sehr warm werden. Ich vergebe hier 5 Sterne, weil der BENFEI-Kartenleser in Sachen Geschwindigkeit, Kompatibilität und Verarbeitung absolut überzeugt und sich im Alltag als verlässlich und unkompliziert erwiesen hat. Für den aufgerufenen Preis bekommt man hier ein sehr solides Produkt, das sich vor deutlich teureren Markenlösungen nicht verstecken muss. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die regelmäßig große Datenmengen von CFexpress Typ-B-Karten übertragen müssen und Wert auf ein zuverlässiges, schnelles und flexibles Arbeitsgerät legen. Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Le Benfei est de bonne facture et semblait solide. Malheureusement il a vite fait de ne plus communiquer avec l' l'ordinateur et ne peut télécharger les photos. Je ne peux plus le retourner car 2 mois sont passés et avoir une assistance pour l'éventuelle garantie est compliquée, vu le prix de l'article je laisse tomber !

Comprato per la lettura della scheda della mia nikon z7 ii, funziona perfettamente sia sul fisso con Windows e presa USB, sia su Mac con presa USB-C, e comodissima la doppia uscita. Velocità di trasferimento davvero molto alta (non sono uno che fa test e misurazioni). PEr il mio utilizzo davvero perfetta
