It doesn’t work and was received unusable
I plugged it in and it doesn’t even turn on. Not only that, the right side lever doesn’t even go down all the way or stay. It was such a waste of money.

Beautiful Toaster
I love the looks of this Toaster.. Looks very nice on my kitchen counter...My only complaint is that not all the heating elements are working..especiall on the one side...I have to flip the bread over as it does not cook evenly.. Not sure if I want to return it for a new one or not..

I was sent a used toaster
I was so excited to receive this toaster. Imagine my surprise when I opened the toaster an there were scratches and smear marks on the sides and in the slots where the toast goes. One of the smear marks is sticky....this just ruined my day. I don't like dealing with returns. UPDATE: I received a new toaster. Changed my rating to a 4. Has a small dent on the side, but I decided to keep it. The toaster itself is beautiful. So is the kettle. I'll repost if anything goes wrong.

Must have got a defective one.
I feel bad to give this only a three star review. It’s such a pretty pattern and I love the pattern but this doesn’t work right. I have to put it on level seven to get what a three should do. Levels one to five hardly toast. If you put it on bagel, it hardly toasts. I’m disappointed.

The elements don't all light up; patchy distribution of heat. On the HIGHEST setting (7), gets only a golden toasting. Luckily I like my toast on the light side and at least my toast will never burn. However, one should be able to get a darker toasting for the price. Looks pretty but for performance, just buy the basic toaster from CTC or any local hardware store.
