Bluey: Awesome Advent Calendar Book Bundle

I’m so glad I picked up this Bluey advent calendar! It’s made *really* well and feels sturdier than most of the calendars we’ve tried in past years. Each day comes with either a cute little book or a coloring book, and my toddler has absolutely loved discovering what’s inside. The stories are sweet, the coloring pages are fun, and it’s honestly worth every penny for how much joy it’s brought him. The only thing I’d change is that the numbered squares are out of order, which makes it a little tricky for my toddler to visualize how many days are left til Christmas. Still, he’s so excited to wake up every morning and open a new door that it hasn’t taken away from the experience at all. If you have a Bluey fan in your house, this advent calendar is a total win!

My son who just turned 2 for age reference is loving this calendar!! We are on day 15 so far. If you want this for your kids, I definitely recommend! It is half story books half coloring books. After a few days he knew in the morning he got a new book and would get so excited. He will watch bluey and "read" his book every morning. So cute!!

My granddaughter loved this Advent calendar! She got to see her fave character, Bluey, every day in December til Christmas last year and read stories. These are great because they get to read them year-round- not just during December. Perfect Advent calendar for your 3 to 5-year-olds, not sure if older would like them or not, but definitely the Pre-K & Kindergarteners will love them.

The calender was good quality and my 3 year old enjoyed it. I was disappointed to find out it wasn't just story books. The listing is misleading. Most of the listing talks about books/mini books, but looking back at it there is one mention of coloring books, so I guess I should have read it better. It would have been fine if a few of the days were coloring books but HALF of the days are coloring books. After the first few my child seemed bored of them. Most of them still aren't colored in. The stories are good, each one is an episode, we read them often. I was surprised by how small the font is, but the books are small so it makes sense.

This year I got this for my Daughter who absolutely loves bluey. She was a little disappointed when most of the books were coloring books as she really enjoys our time reading the stories together. It is a good way to break up the stories but definitely over half of them are coloring books. I think they should have some books with stickers or something for more variety if they aren’t going to put mostly stories.

For the price, this advent gift is fantastic and a great gift. Each day has had a new little mini-book, including a colouring book for one of the days. My 2 year old grandson is enthralled with this advent gift and is able to open the day with ease. My only con, is a little one, but the days are not in order and that is confusing for him when trying to teach counting down and numerical order. I don't really know why on a toddler type gift, that's clearly marketed to young children, the idea was not to put them in numerical order.

Advent calendars are great and I love that this one is also practical and something kids can use long after the holidays. Great quality and one of our family’s favorite characters!
