Small But Mighty
This box is a bit of a unicorn: reasonably-priced, small enough to fit on a non-SUV, and fairly spacious inside. I’ve put a couple thousand miles in now with this bad boy on top and really the only minor complaint i have is that it isn’t ambidextrous—you can only access the box from the passenger side. That’s not a big deal but it would be nice to have the flexibility. It did great in the rain and is near-waterproof. I’ve left gear in it for an extended period of time and had no issues except for having to replace the shock cord in a tent pole set because it fried in the Texas heat—that would have happened in any box and is user error rather than a product issue. It definitely makes some noise on the highway but it isn’t terrible, I just turn the music up a little louder. No rattling or whistling, just some extra wind noise. It’s extremely lightweight and easy to install/remove. I live in an apartment with no garage and can easily install or remove it myself and store it in my closet when necessary. The box also fits in the back of my station wagon if i’m ever parked somewhere and feel like I need a little extra security. All in all I definitely recommend this box, especially if you’re limited on the amount of rack space available to you.

Right size and Reasonable Quality
I was looking for a smaller roof top box to keep dirty and wet gear out of my truck. I didn't want a tall box or something with a high tare (empty) weight. This little box seemed to fit my needs nicely. Shipping and Packaging: Shipping went smoothly. Packaging was reasonable, the item arrived in good condition. It was wrapped in cellophane inside a bag inside a large box. Build Quality: I would put the build quality of this box far above the off-brand models I saw in person. It falls somewhere between the quality of the Yakima and Thule boxes. The locking feature seems to work well but as with any roof box I feel like a determined thief would be able to get in using enough force. Installation: Installation was fairly straight forward, the instructions were simple but adequate. I spent a little over a half hour on the initial installation including measuring the box so it was perfectly centered (because I'm that guy). It was easy enough to lift on top of the truck by myself. I imagine that subsequent removals and installation will be quicker now that the cross bars are where they need to be. The roof box uses a squared u-bolt system with backing plates the only difficulty I had was connecting the u-bolts on the hinge side of the lid by myself, a second set of hands would have been helpful. The backing plates also housed the tie down points so that your tie down straps inside will be about where your roof racks are. The u-bolts fit around my Thule Aerobars. They do fit the thicker bar but there is a fair amount of room forward and behind the u-bolt a strap system would be better. Driving with the box installed: After several months of driving with the box installed I haven't noticed any difference in driving on the highway or around town. If there is any noise it is minimal. I do have all terrain tires that increase road noise a bit so your results may vary on a smaller car with a quieter cabin. I've had this mounted during several significant rain storms and my contents have stayed dry throughout All and all I am happy with this purchase. The size is right for me, the cost reasonable, and the initial quality is there. If you're more concerned with function than showing off that Thule or Yakima label I think you'd be happy with this item. I hope this review is helpful.

I am happy with this Inno cargo box!
It works for me. The hinges are plastic. But it seems to attach secure and it is what I needed for extra cargo/camping gear. I feel it is nicer than a bag that sits on the car roof. It’s solid and looks great on my 07 Honda Pilot. I am very happy with this Inno cargo box.

Just right size and mounts securely
I needed a cargo box for car camping and wanted a low profile one. (I think the huge ones look silly.) This fits perfectly on a Subaru Forester and looks great. It has enough room for my gear and has interior tie down points. Things would bounce around in a larger box. I waterproofed it with some weather stripping on the inside and so far no leaks even during downpours. And the low profile means garages aren’t a problem.

Perfect on my 2021 Prius Prime!
I searched high and low for a small, low profile cargo box that wasn't long and skinny or tall and narrow that would also leave me enough room to mount my Yakima RaptorAero bike rack or Rhino 2 pair ski/fishing rod holder(572) next to the box using the Toyota branded roof rack for my 2021 Prius Prime. After 3 months of racking my brain I settled on this. Generally speaking the box does cause some wind noise from about 60+ mph. The interior noise from the box is not enough to cause one to not be able to have a normal conversation or hear the other party in a phone conversation even at 80+ mph. Overall fit and finish is a 9/10 only because as others have mentioned the manufacturer should have added another set of mounting holes spaced further apart as even a smaller vehicle like my Prius required them to work. Specifically applicable to the 2016-21 Prius/Prius Prime when mounted centered there is approximately 8" of the actual crossbar surface remaining on either side which allows me enough space to mount either of the 2 attachments mentioned on the drivers side if the box is mounted towards the passenger side(opens from right). A new set of holes about 1" away from the existing front holes or rear slot will need to be added for it to fit(I chose rear and took 10 seconds to drill 2 holes) For the price and what you're getting I don't think you can go wrong. Can't wait to go on my roadtrip next month!!

Good size and looks really nice!
The shipping box was a bit damaged when it arrived but glad it did not damage the cargo box inside. The cargo box fits our Honda CRV well and it looks really good. We didn’t want anything too big so this was perfect for the car. It’s very light but sturdy. We also love the shiny look and it’s curved shape.

Love it
I loved this cargo box. I used it for several years with no issues. It was easy to install on top of my buick encore and I was able to fit all sorts of things inside for my glamping trips, such as an air fryer, 3 qt instant pot, tool box, fire wood, camping gear, and a ton of other things.

It is a small box and it fit very well on my Hyundai Kona ev using Hyundai bar. It took me about 35 minutes for the first install and at this point, I think I can do it in 10 minutes. For the box itself : 1) The noise level of the box is acceptable but not great. 2)It is easy enough to reach and fill. 3) The lock is decent 4) the attach to box to the roof bar use plastic nuts that feel a bit cheap Delivery was very fast and everything was nicely wrapped. For electric car users worried with their range, using this box at 105 km/h increase my power consumption from 15 Kwh to 17.7 kwh.

Mounting is the hardest, I have to take the freedom top of the jeep just to line up the u bolts and extend my arms to tighten knobs. I’m returning it. Installing this in winter would really be a hard time, though it looks nice but for that price locking knobs should be same as the thule or Yakima.
