*update - these used to be great. Now the adhesive is hit or miss. Might last a week...or one day before its half peeled up. Unravels along edges, very unsightly with just a day or two. Great price compared to others. All have mixed reviews so I thought I would try this first. I'm new to CGMs and my first lasted two days when it popped out right after a shower. I decided to try it as-intended with the plastic cover first. No issues unless I'm laying on my side propped up on it, then it digs in a little. I think it would work just fine without the cover, but, changing the patch out without pulling the sensor out would be much more difficult. Honestly the adhesive is fantastic. I'm a ginger with super sensitive skin and a week in with no issues. The patches are super stretchy and feel breathable. I've made it through my first week with no sensor loss, no allergic reaction...no gross peeling patch either. 😑 If I buy something else it will be because it's cute and not because this doesn't work. ***edit to add - if your having problems with the patch wrinkling when your sticking it on, try to not stretch it when applying. I remove the middle backing first, stick the clear shield to it without stretching it, then attach while using my phone camera. Stick down all exposed areas gently without stretching and then do the same one side at a time. It *wants* to stretch but it doesn't need your help ;) This will help with both applying without wrinkles and also keep it nicer looking for longer.

The best part about this item is the hard plastic cover that it comes with. That really helps prevents any bumps or nudges from disrupting your sensor. The adhesive is not too extremely sticky (in a good way) but if worn too long, it seems to get stickier and irritating to the skin after a couple days. I wore it on a really hot day 100+ degrees and when I removed it, the adhesive pulled of some skin with it too. I would buy this for just the cover and keep searching for an alternative sticker or non-adhesive patch to use it with.

I really wanted to review this. This sensor cover is absolutely amazing and has worked well so far. I've used several other patches and adhesive methods in the past, and I have to say the one flaw in it is the hardness and inflexibility of the cover itself. It is causing some minor itchiness and irritation particularly when sleeping. But the sturdiness and resilience of the patch itself? A++!!! I have already knocked my sensor against several doors and haven't had the patch or cover budge an inch! And trust me when I say there are few things I've experienced other than serious injuries that have been more painful than having both sensor and patch forcefully ripped off along with a layer of you skin! Like I said, there are some minor comfort issues, but I was looking for security and I think it works well for that. The occasional itchiness or adjustment while I'm laying is negligible in my mind. I would like to note I use Skin-tac wipes prior to placement just to give the patch the best chance of survival. This is day four and there is no loss of adhesion at the edges yet. I would also note I am not very physically active for most of my day, just accident prone. So if you are looking for an active lifestyle review, mine isn't the one for you.

J’aime beaucoup la pastille de plastique qui me permet de coller la patch moi même beaucoup plus facilement. La couleur noir est idéal puisque paraît plus longtemps propre.
