I have dry skin from using tretinoin and this is the only exfoliator I can use. It is very gentle and contains both a chemical exfoliant (LHA) and manual exfoliant (plant cellulose). If you have dry, sensitive skin or just don't like harsher actives, this product is a good choice.

I’ve been using the Anua Heartleaf LHA Moisture Peeling Gel for about six weeks now and thought I’d share my honest thoughts—what works, what doesn’t, and whether it’s worth it. ✅ What I Liked Gentle yet effective exfoliation, doesn't disrupt the skin barrier. After cleansing, I apply it per the instructions (dry hand on oily/combination days, wet hand when skin’s more dry) and massage for about a minute before rinsing. Right after use, my skin feels noticeably smoother. Perfect for sensitive/combination skin: I have a mix of slightly oily zones and some texture on my forehead and chin; I was pleasantly surprised that this didn’t sting or leave a tight/over-exfoliated feeling. Comfortable finish: Unlike harsher scrubs, there’s no aggressive scrubbing sensation, no big foaming or intense “peeling” feel. The finish still allows me to apply my serums and moisturiser without irritation Good size & value for what it offers: at around 120 ml size for its category, you’re getting a solid quantity for your money. As an exfoliator you don’t use daily, this feels like it will last. ⚠️ What Could Be Better If you expect a gritty scrub sensation, you might find this a bit underwhelming or unfamiliar. While my skin did feel smoother, I didn’t see dramatic “instant” results like super brightening or pore-vanishing after just one use. Frequency needs to be moderated: Because this includes exfoliating actives (LHA) and peeling action, using it too often may risk over-exfoliation especially if you’re also using other actives (AHA/BHA, retinol) 🎯 Bottom Line If I were to summarise: This is a good exfoliating gel for someone who wants something gentler than a physical scrub but more “active” than a simple wash. It allows for smoother skin texture, is comfortable to use, and is pretty well-suited for combination/sensitive types. If I’m looking at who it’s best for: ✅ Those with mild texture issues, dullness, or wanting to refine skin’s surface without intense peeling. ✅ People who are just starting exfoliation and want something gentle without overpowering the skin. ✅ Anyone with combination, slightly oily, or sensitive skin who fears aggressive exfoliators. And who might reconsider: ❌ Someone expecting dramatic pore-vanishing or overnight brightening. ❌ Users who use a lot of other strong actives (so layering could lead to irritation). ❌ Folks who really prefer a “granular scrub” feel – the texture might feel too gentle in comparison. Given my experience, I would purchase it again, especially because I found the balance of gentle but effective a nice fit for my skin’s needs right now. If you choose to pick it up, I recommend using it twice a week to start, see how your skin responds, and always follow with a good moisturiser and SPF (the day after exfoliation is when your skin is more vulnerable).

I love this so much. I've noticed my freckles disappearing which I dont mind as taking all that dead skin off each time I use it. Every fortnight I use this. My skins looks amazing 👏

Had another peeling gel which worked better but this one was a decent alternative and provided a gentle exfoliation and didn’t leave any irritation
