Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 - Migration of your Applications, Files and Settings from an Old PC to a New PC - Data Transfer Software - With Optional High Speed Ethernet Cable - 1 License

I had my HP Windows 10 computer for more than 15 years that I purchased at Costco. I wished I would have known about Laplink PCmover many years ago. I held off from upgrading to Windows 11 buying a new computer because I had many programs that I could no longer re-install because I no longer had the CD or the download link. When I discovered Laplink PCmover I decided to take a chance and buy a new computer W11 and see if I could move all my programs to my new computer W11 with Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 with the data cable. WOW! 3 hours later and moving over 100 GB worth of data - programs, I was in total disbelief. I purchase the software with the data cable and I was impressed with the speed that it took to move over 100 GB of data and setup the programs in W11. Keep in mind that the speed to upload is dependent on your internet service and not the program. The software program design looks great and easy to use. Very user friendly. Anyone can use this program without any problems. PCmover Ultimate 11 moved 99% of my programs even the ones it flagged as being unsafe. I could not believe it. I held off from reviewing the product because I was expecting to get the Blue Screen of Death and lose everything. To my surprise and more than a month later all my programs run great just like they did on W10. I am SHOCKED! The functionality of Laplink PCmover is beyond amazing. This software is prefect companion for migrating any and all PC applications from one computer to another. IT IS AMAZING. It is worth the cost of this software. If I had to do it all over again, I would be more inclined to do it immediately and not wait like I did even after I found out about Laplink. This software is legit!

Purchased the USB version of this for both mine and my wife's older PC's. It worked flawlessly, and even moved all our bookmarks over to the new Windows 11 PC's. And it only took about 4 hours for the entire transfer. I must admit that I was a little hesitant to try it, since I am NOT a very tech savvy person, but the instructions were great and easy to follow. I recommend Laplink PCmover Ultimate 11 to anyone who, like me, needs to move all their files, documents etc, to their new Windows 11 PC.

If you have a standard transfer from one computer to another this software makes it easy. I used it twice for two different computers and it worked flawless. It moved all programs, settings etc. and the interface was easy to use and understand. I just let it run and came back when it was done. Saved me tons of time and money without taking it to a tech. I also used the free erase software to eliminate my data so I could sell the old computer. I would recommend to anyone especially if you're not technical.

Worked well and accomplished most of what was required to move the applications and content from my old Windows 10 Professional notebook to my new Windows 10 Home notebook. The wizard made the setup very straightforward using the default choice. It created a report on the old system showing the applications and files that were to be transferred, which apps would definitely move, likely move, would not move because they were incompatible, or were security software that needed to be reinstalled. Since my old and new units were from different manufacturers, there were a number of hardware specific tools and apps that I opted to delete from the transfer through the advanced configuration section, which allowed my to simply uncheck the boxes for those apps that I didn’t want to move. It successfully moved my Office 2016 Pro though I needed to deactivate the single machine license on my old machine and reactivate it on the new machine after install. For some reason, the analysis didn’t pick up iTunes though it moved all of the library and other information, so I had to download and reinstall it, along with my McAfee security software as expected, but this was straightforward. I have a couple of apps that required Java, which also didn’t transfer, but once again this was an easy post transfer download, and all my old software is currently working on my new system. My Office settings and desktop wallpaper successfully moved, but not my homepage tabs in my Chrome browser. All of my plugins did move, though I had to enable them after the transfer. Other minor Windows settings like my start menu and task bar layouts, trackpad scroll direction, cursor choice, and network backup configuration for File History also needed to be done manually. Again, these were all easy to handle. The only other issue was I had asked it to move one user account and merge my old admin account with my new one. This didn’t happen. When I created my initial user account on the new unit, it was created as an admin, and everything from my old user acount was transferred to that account. Nothing was done with the old admin account. I created a new admin account on the new unit, then changed the first to a local account for security. One of the reasons that I needed to replace my old unit is that it was having some reliability issues, which of course caused it to crash during the transfer. After restarting the old unit and restarting the application on both units, a second transfer was initiated that completed what wasn’t transferred before the crash. This was a very positive outcome! All in all, a much easier migration than I experienced when I got my old unit. The PCmover transfer took around three hours including the restart utilizing the supplied cable, and I spent perhaps another 2-3 hours doing the reinstalls, activations, finalizing the settings, and then verifying that all of my software worked. I would recommend this product.

The fact that Windows 10 support was about to be abandoned combined with the realization that my old PC was too old to upgrade to Windows 11 forced me to buy a new PC and in order to make the transition as easy as possible, I bought the Laplink PC mover and I am 100% satisfied with the end results. It perfectly transferred every photo, all my documents, files and folders, all my iTunes and everything arrived on the new PC working exactly as it had before, only faster. The cost for the software is minuscule compared to the cost of having it done at a computer repair store, the directions were easy to figure out and accomplish and even with the fastest transfer speed, it required more than 18 hours to complete. You have to download and install the software to the old and the new PC, but once pared, it was smooth sailing and mostly hands off. Once the transfer is complete, you can completely erase the old PC completely. As someone who lacks a lot of the PC savvy my grandsons are growing up with, the Laplink software saved me a lot of time and frustration and I've already let all my friends who are upgrading their PCs to use this service.

It took me 34 man hours to get this data xfer done from my old win 10 computer to my new win 11 computer. My first transfer try corrupted my boot drive on my new win 11 PC. I could not get to my restore point I had created before I started the transfer. I had to do a complete clean reinstall. I Had to get a microsoft super expert for a couple hours to get that done. I had to create a recovery thumb drive on my old pc and use it on my new PC. to get new pc back online. That included new windows 11 app. I found the AI assistant to have wrong solutions for my transfer problems. AI referenced input screen actions that did not exist on the screens referenced. I only have one display terminal. Instructions from AI seldom worked. I had to switch between old and new computers at least 20 times while trying AI solutions. I had to switch 5 connections for each AI proposed directions for fixes i.e. display screen, keyboard. wifi, mouse and 1 more for each proposed solution from AI. When I finally got everything set up per the laplink guide, I got a message that my license had expired for the PCmover software. I did find the customer service to be answered very quickly and effectively. The laplink representative reinstated my license. I just now completed the 5-hour transfer of 286 GB UPDATE – next day I tried to launch 24 of my frequently used apps from my old win 10 computer on the new win 11 computer. The result was 15 of the apps would not launch and 9 would launch. Most of the apps that would not launch were missing the .dll files required to launch.

If you're migrating to a new computer ... spend the piddly amount and use Laplink PC mover. It's well worth the money to avoid the inherent frustration of upgrading. And, if you do have run into problems, don't get disappointed ... just call 'em 'cuz their service folks really do have your back. I can't recommend Laplink HIGHLY ENOUGH! WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT with even greater customer service!!! I know this as a member of the silverback group (think gorillas) I struggled at first to get Laklink running correctly on my wife's new computer, so I called Laplink and was connected with Michelle Diaz of the Laplink Customer Experience team (Email: [email protected]) ... and let me tell ya this gal really knows her stuff. After describing my problems she asked permission to run my computer herself and all of a sudden my world started spinning. I've never seen anyone hopscotch around a computer as fast as she did and after adjusting some system settings, the software was off and doing it's thing. We've not had a single issue with the new system thanks to Michelle's knowledge and work. The customer support from Laplink may actually be better than than the product ... which is FANTASTIC beyond words. It's so easy to use that I've just replaced my Win 10 system, which couldn't run win 11, with a new computer and used Laplink PCmover to transfer everything over. I had one stumble due to pilot error, but everything's working properly on this unit, too.

I am totally blown away with this product! I've never used a transfer software like this; I've always just reinstalled everything by hand. The installation and startup were easy and straightforward. The PC's found each other automatically over my wireless network. One minor program didn't transfer at all and another that I forced to transfer wouldn't work on the new version of Windows anyway. Everything else worked pretty seamlessly, and after moving icons around my desktop to their original places, it was as if I was using my previous PC! The transfer takes some time, but I was nevertheless impressed with the speed. The original PC was actually left intact. I can't testify whether the erase/shredding software works or not. It seemed to immediately crash and then the old PC wouldn't boot to restart it. But overall, I'm very pleased with this product and will purchase a new license the next time I upgrade.

I bought the PCMover Ultimate for €72,- and as i found out you can utilise the license only on two PC's. After installation and registering your license you can't use the software on another set of machines without buying another license. That way the cost is very high to transfer data between two machines.

移行が大変楽になりました。移行環境はWindows11から11で新PCへのアプリ、データ、設定が対象でした。私は数十のアプリを導入していますのでPC入れ替え時のアプリ再導入にうんざりしていましたが移行できなかったものは3個程度で満足しています。大きなデータ（130GB）は別途外付けDISKにコピーしてそれを使って移行したためそれを除外してWiFi接続のPC Moverで移行したものは総量100数十GBぐらいでしたが3時間弱で終わりました。PC Moverで示された転送速度は平均30MB/Sでした。ブラウザーブックマークもそのままで移行後もストイレスなく使えました。驚いたことにOutlook Classicも移行されました。送受信Boxの内容も移行されていました。ただ移行後に新たにOne Drive上の送受信Boxが追加されそれを新しい送受信に使用していたので削除して従来通りに使えるようになりました。英語の説明書ですがかなり今風（？）の簡略英語表現（例えばcreatingがcreang等）で少し驚きますがそれほど難しくはありません。英語が苦手な方はChatGptなどのAIで翻訳ｓｈて目を通されておくことをお勧めします。というか見られておいたほうが間違いなくうまくいきます

会社で新しいPCへの入れ替えがあり、試しに使用してみました。 ユーザーのドキュメント等はちゃんと転送されますが、アプリは 例えばEXCELなどは転送されないですし、Thunderbirdなどは 自分でフォルダーの下を転送しなくてはならず、FirefoxやChrome などは自分でインストールしてデータを移行せねばならず、結局 自分で全部やってもあまり変わらないように感じました。
